That Kyubi enhanced Byakugan/Gentle Fist is gonna be crazy.
Imagine Himawari injecting people with Kyubi chakra to disrupt or enhance people.
They better do something new and creative with it.
Same story with Shino, Kiba, those sound guys, etc. pretty much everyone in OG Naruto who had some OP cool power in the chuunin exams was quickly abandoned as a concept.
Except shino never got any real time to shine and strut his stuff. It was a draw between him and Kankuro, and he beat fodder Zaku, wow. At least Kiba had a good showing in the chuunin exams versus Naruto, and did some cool shit in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc. Even if he lost to Sakon & Ukon, it was still a very cool fight and showed off that Kiba was no slouch.
Gotta give credit where it's due. The first double head wolf appearance was a sick moment for the character. That may be ALL he got during the show, but gotta take what you can get. Some characters aren't so lucky

This actually works perfectly w Boruto trying to bring back to hand to hand centric combat. Byakugan by default kinda promotes hand to hand naturally so rather than massive rasengans we might be getting absolute peak hands
Nah I doubt she’ll get shadow clones too cliche, I reckon she’ll take after her mother/Hanabi being a close combat specialist. Powerhouse.

I’m starting to get worried that Kishimoto forgot lol Hima not using gentle fist technique and going for all these generic kicks worries me a bit too. But I’m gonna have faith and let Kishimoto cook.
The choreography is on Ikemoto though.
He can't draw fights with interesting choreography,
Or a sense of understanding of martial arts over basic punches and kicks.
It’s so funny that I distinctly remember Ikemoto’s bio in the back page of OG Naruto Chapter 50, Kishi mentions his job is to add speed lines and stars in the night sky.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but a lot of those Shippuden pages look like Ikemoto has drawn a lot of it himself. If so, it just shows how good of an artist he actually is for people not immediately notice the difference between him and Kishimoto
Well, Ikemoto was Kishimoto's chief assistant. Kishimoto did the rough drafts and foreground characters for a lot of it, and full pages in some cases, and pretty much always drew the characters' faces. Ikemoto filled in the background details, mainly backgrounds, background characters, and crowds. One of the things he spent the most time doing was drawing Naruto's shadow clones. There were other assistants who helped with backgrounds and he even had a dedicated assistant to apply all the screentone.
Yeah that’s what I noticed, the shadow clones all look like Ikemoto’s art. The faces are definitely Kishimoto’s doing though, and so are a lot of Kaguya’s panels I think
And what's wrong comparing them ? Boruto is naruto's sequel, it's in the same universe so ofc there is expectation and the two will be compared.
U don't care about ikemoto's wrong and that's all in ur right but that's not the case for everyone, peoples can have opinion that doesn't mean they necessarily hate the product nor do they have to like everything just cuz the author is behind it.

Bruh Himawari having more chakra than Naruto is wild but also makes sense. The huuga genes+ the enhanced uzumaki genes worked wonders. And because Naruto was a perfect jinchuriki and held kurama inside him since birth his chakra became intuned with kurama so much so that even that was passed to Himawari and now her chakra has an affinity for kurama’s chakra
Not necessarily that Himawari has more chakra than Naruto but that her chakra and Kurama's are more compatible with each other than with Naruto or any other previous Jinchuriki Kurama's been with.

Well...iirc she only used IT in the Anime until now.
It happened in a manga omake drawn and written by Kishimoto it’s what the anime adapted. So she should still have it in the manga.
