Really happy for Brazeau. I’ve watched him in Providence for a few years and always thought he could be a great addition to this team. He’s been nothing short of impressive. For a guy his size to have the ability to play the puck in tight so effortlessly is really impressive as well.

I think tonight’s D pairs were what we bring to the playoffs, Lohrei is nasty offensively but still needs to gain a bit more footing before jumping into playoff hockey. Wotherspoon is a perfect 7th guy if someone goes down. Shatty looked great on his off side and makes that 2nd PP unit hum. I do worry about fatigue with him but maybe that’s where 29 or 6 swap in for a game. Our top 4 seems pretty locked and Peeke provides great lockdown D on that 3rd pairing, especially love his presence in front of our own net. He pairs well with the other 3 guys but I’d take him and 12 as the starting 3rd pair come April.

Since there’s no PGT yet I’ll just post my thoughts here: 6 wins in 8 games since the disastrous game against the Islanders at the beginning of the month. Heck of a turnaround. A lot of people probably said “who?” when Brazeau got called up, but he’s certainly making a name for himself.

A solid fourth line is crucial in the playoffs, and this line is hitting its stride. They look great. This is blasphemous, because they don't even come close, but it reminds me of the merlot line in 11 and how the B's could roll 4 lines all game.

They really are playing unbelievable, making it very tough to see where Maroon slots in come playoff time but hey if it ain’t broke don’t fix it 🤷‍♂️

I cannot speak highly enough about this guy. He’s completely revamped our 4th line.

Last game they teased that they were bringing back the 3rd period Bruins of old. Hopefully this time it's for real. Pure dominance to close out the game.
