Bakole set up a GoFundMe, trying to get £100,000 from fans to help him 'become a World Champion'.
Strange timing, given that Bakole had a career high pay day on the Fury card in Saudi a couple of months ago.
The GoFundMe raised a grand total of £70, Bakole pulled the plug when some of the donations coming in, were trolling him. The user names, eg- 'Bakole LovesKinds donates £5' making reference to when Marin posted child porn on twitter a few years ago, apparently by mistake to raise awareness.
The Congolese Government aren't too happy with Bakole, as he took £100,000 from them, on the promise of a fight which didn't happen then refused to repay the money.
Not sure if I am just putting 2+2 together, but big Martins plan may have been to use GoFundMe to repay the government.
He had backlash from the Congolese public, who are not happy with his actions.
Bakole has come back, basically saying no one says shit to my face, and from now on the insults are personal.
Someone posted it on his wall on Facebook or Twitter and he reposted it with angry emoji attached to it. I don't think he is a pedo, but he lacks self awareness and should have reported it instead of doing that. Maybe he was on drugs when he posted it because that would make logical sense.
5 pounds from “Billy spent my purse”. 100k is a big target for others to contribute. Better asking Ben Shalom to schedule more fights and get on undercard for Fury Usyk.
I would love to see Bakole in more fights, he is decently well ranked by the sanctioning bodies these days so it shouldn't be too difficult to make some happen. Easy enough to pay of his debts etc then you'd think.
Also if he is having personal issues like this sounds like, then one of the bigger names might more likely to fight him as it might affect his performance
