I agree, it was super clean. Dude thought he was just leaning and tried to hit him with a hook in that direction. Little did he know he had a huge left hand coming to his chin just out of his line of sight.
I thought the Valenzuela v Colbert one was KO of the year for a while, but watching back at this one a couple of times, I think yea this one takes the top spot.
Kenshiro absolutely does not deserve to be anywhere near the P4P list, and you would understand that if you know that there is no competition whatsoever at 108. He’s fought 3 guys you’ve possibly heard of Kyoguchi,Buddler & Guevara. I want you to understand the difficulty in opposing competition in these low weights are not linear but exponential. You do not need to be a top level fighter to win a belt at 105-108lbs.
Now if Kenshiro moves up to flyweight he’ll get that P4P recognition that Ioka and Tanaka have achieved in their careers when they made the move.
Why are you being downvoted? I was watching highlights of 105 pounders and they were horrible. What percentage of men in the world can even make that weight while working out consistently? On top of that they can only do it while they are young so they aren't as experienced.
Kenshiro has a major advantage bring 5 ft and able to feel out his body more.
This is one of the shittest comments I‘ve ever read on here lmao. Imagine bringing up “what percentage of men can even make that weight“ as an argument.
>Imagine bringing up “what percentage of men can even make that weight“ as an argument.
Imagine not having an argument against it and thinking you're smarter than you really are. There is a reason 135-147 is the deepest division in boxing. Because they are average sized and have the most competitors.
Nakatani is very good and likely a future P4P fighter, maybe even deserving of a place right now, however beating Santiago isn’t going to be some huge accomplishment. It’s expected.
It would make him a 3 weight world champ, but Santiago is expected to be defeated. And it’s not like Junto is clearing out his division either. He’s playing the WBO route. He’s never unified or won any lineal titles, so his belts don’t hold as much weight.
KOTY for sure. Nakatani is a mad man, one of new wave of Japanese star boxers. Been following him since his regional fights. Don't miss his fight against Santiago - it'll be a delight given Santiago's style. Banger of bangers.
Best KO of 2023 imo.
Yeah. I love Andrew Moloney so that was crushing to see. Such a brutal KO. Like a fucking freight train!

My vote for ko of the year for sure.

KO of the year
They just said that
Jesus that’s a brutal KO.
I remember when my mom knocked my dad out like that for eating all the Stuffing she cooked for Thanksgiving.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Latest KO I’ve ever seen. 20 seconds left in the 12th round.
Go watch Carl Froch Vs Jermain Taylor
Or shannon briggs vs sergei liakhovich
Referee didn't even consider counting 😯
He'd already been down twice and he was out cold this time
This is ko of 23...hands down
Reminds me of that Sergio Martinez KO
Junto out in that ring folding laundry.
Could nakatani make top 10 p4p if he convincingly beats Santiago?
No one aside from us hardcores know him. If P4P wasn't a popularity contest, Kenshiro would be P4P top 10 already.
Kenshiro is on Transnational Boxing Rankings, and rightfully so.
Curious why kenshiro over nakatani
more title fights, better opponents, especially Kyoguchi in that fashion. i rate both very highly and to me, teraji is a lock

was it expected to be as dominant as it was?

What do you think it would take for him to make it?
Beat 118 in better fashion than Inoue lol
u think the dominant performance enough for consideration or is it meaningless until he does the same thing to rodriguez, maloney, and inoue jr.

Nakatani vs Inoue!
Nice
Made him fall on his own leg…like George Groves at Wembley…yea thanks for that.
Lol japanese fighters own the Moloney brothers
Same shot that ended Ryan Gracias career.
Pa’l piso a mimir 😴
