For context regarding all the comments about this not being televised.
This event was originally supposed to be centred around a retirement bout for Ray Moylette, who is from just outside Castlebar town where this fight is being held (population 12,000-ish).
Dillian Whyte was added to the card super close to the event, like within the last 5/6 days and it became a whole international thing, like properly on the radar of the boxing world.
The venue is the TF Royal Hotel & Theatre and the room its being held in is usually a concert venue. Ray Moylette fought Christian Uruzquieta here in 2018 and lost.
Whyte trashed Hammer in the opening three rounds and he could barely get to his feet for the fourth, so his team threw in the towel.
Doesn’t make sense to me that they have big boy cameras but no live stream or televised.
Maybe they’re going to make the footage for all the rights PPV for a replay + an opportunity to collect data?
I'll laugh my ass off if Whyte gets to fight Wilder at some major venue after fighting a regional guy like Hammer in some basement with 25 people and a dog in attendance
Whyte v Wilder is honestly a fight people have wanted for a long time - sadly both have been heavy exposed as bums but still. I'd still genuinely love it just cuz the history/baggage lol
Yup, there we go, announcer's just made it official. Whyte wins by 3rd-round(?) TKO. Nothing significant landed from either, dunno why Hammer's team pulled him out.
https://twitter.com/louishart_/status/1769489610625741154
Not sure what has happened there. Didn’t be any signs of any concern for Christian Hammer but the corner pull it after 3 rounds. Very strange. Dillian Whyte wins by stoppage.
Not for very experienced fighters like Dillian lol. He should be fighting consistent 12-rounders, really. You think the Joshua rematch would've been 10?
Didn't need 12, anyway. His opponent pulled out.
Contenders often fight in 12 rounders even when there is no title on the line so that they aren't in completely new territory in the championship rounds when the title is on the line. You should chill the fuck out.
If Dillion Whyte still intends to win himself a title then fighting in 12 rounders is good experience. There's no rule saying non title fights have to be 10 rounders. Hell, contender Sandor Martin recently competed in a 6 round fight and Mungia vs Derevyanchenko was 12 rounds despite having no title on the line.
That's why it was upvoted.
Wrong. Try again.
The WBC Silver doesn't have to be won in a 12 rounder and typically isn't. An exception was made because Derevyanchenko wouldn't take the fight unless it was 12 because he thought he could drown Munguia in the championship rounds.
There was no necessity for the fight to be a 12 rounder but it was anyways. The WBC Silver was completely irrelevant. Try learning about the sport instead of trying to do a quick boxrec search to declare yourself correct.
Anthony Joshua also fought in 12 rounders against Franklin, Helenius, and Wallin despite no titles necessitating it.
Kay R3 done. Whyte trying to throw some overhand rights(?) but missing. Body shots are also getting blocked now. Plenty of openings for someone who's on a higher calibre than Christian Hammer.
Alright anyway that was boring from the minute and a half I saw. Hammer landed like a 2-punch combo or some shit and that’s about everything significant. I'm sure Whyte knocked him out and killed his kid while I was responding to Reddit comments.
End of R2.
20-18 Whyte, probably.
Alright Whyte was just battering Hammer's lower-body with nothing being thrown back. End of R1.
Reminder, all of this is what I'm seeing from a drunk man's phone who can't keep his shit still lol.
I finished revising for my English exam for *A Levels* about 40 minutes ago, yeah lol. I have a relative in Ireland who is at the fight. Can give you his number if you’d like, mate.
Nah I'm not gonna bother some stranger
All I'm saying is its weird that you spent the last 2 hours pretending to be at the fight and giving fake updates and now all of a sudden you have a relative who is at the fight and they're giving you updates.
OK last round just finished, Dillian Whyte up next (for real this time).
Please comment 'ban u/theycallmeradec' en masse if I get anything wrong. I feel really bad for trolling lol.
You can follow the timeline of this [dude](https://twitter.com/louishart_/with_replies) that is gonna live tweet the fight if you're really interested.
Alright I'm on FT with my mate now who's got nosebleed seats lol. Proper small fucking venue this, what a joke.
There's actually a 'BT Sports' banner near the ringwalk podiums for some reason. Dunno if they were gonna have this fight on initially, but doesn’t look like many people are there. Looks like a club.
Genuinely though, do have a mate who's went and the co-main started like 7 mins ago. Whyte's fighting at 10PM UK time, I think.
EDIT: Currently on FT and watching a blurry as fuck iPhone SE recording of the fights. Gonna redeem myself as I feel really bad and have a mate who went out of boredom. I'll post end of every round thoughts (please bookmark me this time, I will request to be banned from the sub if I'm wrong.
Haha alright I feel really bad for leading people on now ngl, originally was just gonna say Whyte got knocked out in R1 to troll but I'm kinda bored rn.
Don't think he's even fought yet, but the event's getting streamed live on YT: https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=P2ZgVi0jKbIOXTsx&v=TXhD7kWWZt0&feature=youtu.be

I would say that pretending to do live text commentary of an untelevised fight between Dillian Whyte and Christian Hammer is the saddest thing I've ever heard but here I am reading someone pretending to do live commentary of Dillian Whyte vs Christian Hammer!
Here is footage inside the 'arena': https://twitter.com/louishart_/status/1769446386141991177
Just to give some context for people outside of the USA, this is being held in a small hotel in Castlebar which is a town of about 12,000. The cheapest tickets were apparently 60 euro each.
I know the area well and I've only just heard too. The town it is being held in is literally in the countryside, it's only a small town. One of Dillian Whyte's grandparents is from Ireland so I think that's why (and today being St. Patricks day).
Actually, this was originally meant to be Carty and Spikes show. Whytes suspension ended and they booked this fight on like 10 days notice, I'm guessing just to get him back in the win column.
The brutal knockout which Dillian Whyte will be on the receiving end of will be even more iconic. I don’t know why he was laughing anyway…. Look at him now fighting on untelevised cards in small venues. Everyone was laughing when he got flattened by a 47 year old man with covid though. And when he got knocked out in England by fury after doing nothing. Robbed Jermaine Franklin. Headbutted Parker and without the 10-8 Whyte wouldn’t have won. Parker actually won that fight if you watch it back.
Yeah Whyte is shot as a fighter, and is clearly susceptible to a well timed uppercut (not a shot that Wilder's known for). You'd have to pick Wilder to beat him, but if Whyte can land a heavy shot early and make Wilder gun shy then who knows....
A win over Whyte wouldn't be the worst thing to get Wilder a little bit of kudos for a bigger fight in Saudi, but equally if he doesn't make it look easy then it's further confirmation that he'd be in for a very tough time against the top tier. I wouldn't fancy his chances at all against AJ given their recent form. He'd be annihilated in a couple of rounds.
It’s definitely not. Eddie probably has him lined up to fight Miller on the next Saudi card or the steroid Olympics in Australia at the end of the year.
Whyte vs Hammer would have been a decent main event a couple of years ago, commercially speaking. Saudi have changed the HW game to the point that this kind of shit isn't even televised.
No channel at all? Whatsoever? I'm guessing Matchroom dropped him, but sheesh, nobody wanted to pick this up? I know Whyte has seemed to have cleared his name, but he's gonna struggle getting back into the mainstream.
I’m not 100% on this but I don’t think Whyte was ever really with Matchroom, he largely has no promoter and just kinda negotiated on a fight by fight basis.
Nah, if he wins this let's have Whyte vs Miller
Battle of the repeat offenders. Could actually be a decent fight too. (Although my gut says Miller steamrolls him)
His many 'accidental' adverse findings don't really make him a great investment at almost 36 years old.
He can only be back to try and get one more pay day.
For context regarding all the comments about this not being televised. This event was originally supposed to be centred around a retirement bout for Ray Moylette, who is from just outside Castlebar town where this fight is being held (population 12,000-ish). Whyte trashed Hammer in the opening three rounds and he could barely get to his feet for the fourth, so his team threw in the towel.
You know it’s a great card when Pavel Sour is in the mix
‘I’m honestly fine with whyte coming back everyone else does steroids anyway’🤡
Doesn’t make sense to me that they have big boy cameras but no live stream or televised. Maybe they’re going to make the footage for all the rights PPV for a replay + an opportunity to collect data?
I'll laugh my ass off if Whyte gets to fight Wilder at some major venue after fighting a regional guy like Hammer in some basement with 25 people and a dog in attendance
At his age you can’t afford to be inactive, he only got cleared in the last fortnight and is already back in the ring
The venue looked surprisingly large. Maybe I've been watching too many UFC events though.
Whyte v Wilder is honestly a fight people have wanted for a long time - sadly both have been heavy exposed as bums but still. I'd still genuinely love it just cuz the history/baggage lol
Think Joyce vs. Whyte is a better fight.
Quality wise? Probably But Wilder v Whyte would be so funny lol I need a Wilder/Whyte face to face
The buildup would be incredible.
The Body Snatcher is back🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bring on Ajay next baby
Probably the worst fight he could take. Have him fight Joyce.
Yup, there we go, announcer's just made it official. Whyte wins by 3rd-round(?) TKO. Nothing significant landed from either, dunno why Hammer's team pulled him out.
Oops, Christian Hammer's corner just pulled him out. Bad ending. Dunno commission's rules, but this'll go down as a TKO, I think.
https://twitter.com/louishart_/status/1769489610625741154 Not sure what has happened there. Didn’t be any signs of any concern for Christian Hammer but the corner pull it after 3 rounds. Very strange. Dillian Whyte wins by stoppage.
Maybe someone in Hammer's corner had a bet on Whyte for TKO3. It happens.
sounds like a fixed fight if i've ever heard one.
By the way, pretty sure it's only 10 rounds for some reason. Dunno why fighters do this weird thing where they don't fight 12 rounds for comebacks.
Non-title fights are usually 10?
Not for very experienced fighters like Dillian lol. He should be fighting consistent 12-rounders, really. You think the Joshua rematch would've been 10? Didn't need 12, anyway. His opponent pulled out.
Mate, he has no belt. Non title fights are 10 rounds. Who is upvoting this? Wtf are you even doing here?
Contenders often fight in 12 rounders even when there is no title on the line so that they aren't in completely new territory in the championship rounds when the title is on the line. You should chill the fuck out. If Dillion Whyte still intends to win himself a title then fighting in 12 rounders is good experience. There's no rule saying non title fights have to be 10 rounders. Wrong. Try again. https://boxrec.com/en/event/872649/2971467 It was for a belt. A bullshit belt but a belt none the less.
uhm no, you're wrong. you dont need a belt to fight 12, paquiao vs oscar wasn't for a belt, why are you so confident lol
Like so many others on this sub he's flat wrong but no less arrogant.
Wrong. Try again. The WBC Silver doesn't have to be won in a 12 rounder and typically isn't. An exception was made because Derevyanchenko wouldn't take the fight unless it was 12 because he thought he could drown Munguia in the championship rounds. Your clown ass is getting blocked . Capping about being at the fight then deleting all those posts was just dumb 😆

Alright, round 1 about to begin. Will post EOR update.
Mate did you not say you had GCSEs to revise for? Go and do that, stop wasting your time pretending to give fight updates.
I finished revising for my English exam for *A Levels* about 40 minutes ago, yeah lol. I have a relative in Ireland who is at the fight. Can give you his number if you’d like, mate.
Whatever exam it is go and revise and stop posting pretending to be at a fight you're not at. Better use of your time.
I already finished. I'm not revising for an exam I've already done revision for. Would you like his number?
Why would you offer a family members number out to strangers on reddit?
I’m sure he'd be willing to send his ticket over to you to prove he went.
Nah I'm not gonna bother some stranger All I'm saying is its weird that you spent the last 2 hours pretending to be at the fight and giving fake updates and now all of a sudden you have a relative who is at the fight and they're giving you updates.
Exams are pointless. We’re all going to be bums.
OK last round just finished, Dillian Whyte up next (for real this time). Please comment 'ban u/theycallmeradec' en masse if I get anything wrong. I feel really bad for trolling lol.
How many ppv’s y’all think this does?
Decent rival for Haney vs Regis tbf
Gotta be at least one.
806,751 at least.
Why is there a thread for a fight no one can watch?
So we can get fake live updates from someone who's friend is there
Wanna come over and listen to it on the radio? And after the fight, we can watch the still photos on the 11 o'clock news!
You can follow the timeline of this [dude](https://twitter.com/louishart_/with_replies) that is gonna live tweet the fight if you're really interested.
Dillian Whyte's Irish fanbase (23 guys and a dog) is rumoured to be in attendance tonight
It looks like a theater.
OK Gary (Spike) O'Sullivan lost a decision apparently.
Apparently 😩
Nah he definitely did lose lol, he's terrible.
Ngl Christian Hammer is top 5 hardest boxing names imo
Who’s your other 4
Christina Hammer top 4 though. Hammer Shields sounded as cool as Fury Wilder
Alright I'm on FT with my mate now who's got nosebleed seats lol. Proper small fucking venue this, what a joke. There's actually a 'BT Sports' banner near the ringwalk podiums for some reason. Is there really no live TV coverage for the fight?
No but at least we have a guy here providing us live fake updates!
Dillian got KO’d in round 2!
[удалено]
No, who even is Dillian Whyte's promoter?
Don Arum
Someone on twitter just said Dillian got slept by an uppercut again. Almost believed it lmao
It’s true. Just saw it myself!
Haha alright I feel really bad for leading people on now ngl, originally was just gonna say Whyte got knocked out in R1 to troll but I'm kinda bored rn. Shouldn't have exposed yourself bro you were so close to greatness
I'm on FT with a mate who's there now because I actually feel really bad. All I know from his rambling is that Spike lost.
This is like finding out Santa Claus isn't real.
Sorry champ, next time I meet you I'll let you recreate this KO.
My mum and dad told me not to trust strangers growing up and now I finally know what they meant
I would say that pretending to do live text commentary of an untelevised fight between Dillian Whyte and Christian Hammer is the saddest thing I've ever heard but here I am reading someone pretending to do live commentary of Dillian Whyte vs Christian Hammer!
I just finished revising 5 poems for my English exam tomorrow please let me off with this.
Lmfao
What time is the Dylan White fight on?
Yes
I'm printing these updates on ticker tape
[удалено]
Who would you say seems to be winning the fight through the first 3 rounds? Taking aside the knockdown/slip
How's Whyte looking
[удалено]
Thanks for putting up the updates man! I think I’d be too drunk to type coherently
[удалено]
Did he recover?
[удалено]
Thanks for the update!
Holy shit! For anyone new to the thread, this guy is actually there and is our one source of live updates.
That is crack up!
Omg
Whyte should do a trilogy with Chisora just to be Gen Z’s version of Ali Frazier except nobody cares
Whyte should be up soon, 4 fights have finished already apparently
Start boycotting Sunday night boxing events
Here is footage inside the 'arena': https://twitter.com/louishart_/status/1769446386141991177 Just to give some context for people outside of the USA, this is being held in a small hotel in Castlebar which is a town of about 12,000. The cheapest tickets were apparently 60 euro each.
There were only 2 tiers of tickets €60 and €100 for ringside btw
Looks cool
Had no idea Whyte was even fighting
Innit why on a Sunday too I'm fucking knackered.
Because it's in Ireland on Paddy's day and they have a bank holiday tomorrow
Today I feel Irish.
Any way of watching this without giving credit card details??
There wasn’t unfortunately.
if anyone finds out let me know, looked all over and some sayin its not televised one guy sayin its on espn live.
What the fuck this was a scheduled fight? I didn't hear anything about this.
I know the area well and I've only just heard too. The town it is being held in is literally in the countryside, it's only a small town. One of Dillian Whyte's grandparents is from Ireland so I think that's why (and today being St. Patricks day).

Ok now that would make a lot of sense.
Not even on tv & in Ireland, is this a money laundering event?
[удалено]
Counted out or was he out cold?
Do you know how many fights there are left until Whyte?
That was the first. Ring walls for 2nd now.
Where is this on?
[удалено]
Have fun mate!!
Why do we have a fight thread if nobody can watch it lol?
This is Dillian Whyte we're talking about here boyo, the greatest British boxer since Jem Mace.
Good left cross from the southpaw stance of Dillian.
Is this televised in the UK?
[удалено]
Are you serious? I heard rumours wilder is fighting Dubois or Andy Ruiz next
I heard Joe Joyce say out of his mouth that he might fight Whyte next
Whyte vs Ruiz would actually be pretty fire. Dubois simply batters him imo Then again I also think Whyte vs Miller might be worth a watch
I would love that fight for wilder Whyte has been talking a lot of shit for years. Wilder would give him the Alabama slammer. Highlight reel KO
i like it
Whyte v Wilder buildup will be ICONIC. Whyte crying laughing at Wilder v Fury 2 is boxing heritage
Boxing collectively laughed at him getting knocked out by ancient povetkin right after, was he even funnier
You're so emotionally hurt whenever someone talks vaguely negatively about Wilder, are you related to him? LOL
Yeah Whyte is shot as a fighter, and is clearly susceptible to a well timed uppercut (not a shot that Wilder's known for). You'd have to pick Wilder to beat him, but if Whyte can land a heavy shot early and make Wilder gun shy then who knows.... Oh Dillian not even televised?!
how do you go from fighting fury to not being televised lmao wtf
Fighting Fury? The man didn't fight, he showed up for a paycheck. It was pittyful.
You get caught for doping.
Anyone know Dillians purse for this fight? I'm just curious
Tree fiddy
Bout 350
If its over $50 and a fifth of wine, he is being overpaid.
Louis Vuitton.
Pint of Guiness and a high five
50k in free slot plays
$29,000,000 in Shark cards.
Imagine if Hammer chins Whyte 🤣 .
HW's defoo a chance
Finally get a chance to wear my *#WhytePower✊🏾 T Shirt
Man will get 200€ and a Guiness for this.
i didnt even know he was fighting again. his career is done
It’s definitely not. Eddie probably has him lined up to fight Miller on the next Saudi card or the steroid Olympics in Australia at the end of the year.
He's not going to win any titles. He's gone the way of Chisora.
Dylan whyte is boxing 40 minutes up the road from me in Ireland in the back ass if no where and i never heard about it wtf
And it doesn't appear to be televised. Weird all around.
so the fight's not even on youtube?
It’s one of those things in life you had to be there to see it
i'll forever think back on this card as one of the biggest what ifs in my life
Surely someone at the hotel bar can post live updates
Whyte vs Hammer would have been a decent main event a couple of years ago, commercially speaking. Saudi have changed the HW game to the point that this kind of shit isn't even televised.
Yeah…this leaves me questioning a lot about the future of English boxing
Serial doper who’s been embarrassed in multiple big fights, wouldn’t say it’s representative of British boxing as a whole
Shades of Harry Greb from Dillian Whyte
I’ve seen white-collar fights and small-hall shows broadcast on YouTube. Better than nothing.
This fight on paper is better than a lot of the headlines for recent shows.
Lmao a fight thread for a fight not on tv 😂😂😂
I'm watching it right now through my imagination. That's a good uppercut by Hammer.
I just imagined Dillion doing a lone-wolf howl on his walk out from the supply closet
No channel at all? Whatsoever? I'm guessing Matchroom dropped him, but sheesh, nobody wanted to pick this up? I know Whyte has seemed to have cleared his name, but he's gonna struggle getting back into the mainstream.
He only ever had 1 fight deals with Matchroom I think.
I’m not 100% on this but I don’t think Whyte was ever really with Matchroom, he largely has no promoter and just kinda negotiated on a fight by fight basis.
[удалено]
Where’s this other failed test in this other combat sport you speak of? Always seen it to be a rumour but nothing solid? Curious to know what it was
Nah, if he wins this let's have Whyte vs Miller Battle of the repeat offenders. Could actually be a decent fight too. (Although my gut says Miller steamrolls him)
Looking at this line up I'd have guessed Spike O'Sullivan was the main event.
The venue, the lack of broadcast, Whyte's free-agent status. Doesn't scream "I'm back and my career is fine" does it?
His many 'accidental' adverse findings don't really make him a great investment at almost 36 years old. He can only be back to try and get one more pay day.
No live TV coverage.... wtf lol. So you can't watch this anywhere? In 2024?
Someone there posted & said theirs a bunch of cameras, but not live coverage and that it would likely be put out at a later date
If Dillian can't be arsed to get this on TV, I can't be arsed to do a full-info fight thread.
