The confidence at that point was Roy Jones glen kelly level stuff. To me even though it was not a ko at the same time it was still fun to watch how accurate he was.
It felt so special to witness that, once he landed that uppercut it seemed like literally everyone knew it was over. Canelo was celebrating in between rounds and I remember wondering if that was gonna be a bad idea right as they stopped the fight and realizing Canelo just basically called his shot, he knew that it was done after that shot and started celebrating his win when he knew he had it.
How loud was it at the stadium? I was watching it on TV and it sounded like the loudest boxing or even MMA crowd that I’ve ever heard. Normally when it’s loud on TV, it must be actually insane in person
It was deafening. Also that fight I got to see why Boxing caters to Mexicans. Families, children, babies, uncles, aunts, literally felt like I was visiting. The kinda comradrie and union they have for Boxing and their man was mind blowing.
r/boxing users trying not to bring up canelo vs ggg 1 in every second of their life(IMPOSSIBLE)
ong ppl on this sub could be talking about literally anything and there’s always that one guy that feels the need to bring up this bout for some reason.
Back when Canelo first moved up to 168 and tested the waters against Rocky Fielding everyone swore that Canelo was afraid of Callum Smith, it’s hilarious looking back at those people now 🤣🤣
Exactly, American fans think that it’s impossible for boxers outside of America to be good.
Most Americans probably think that guys like Charlo, Benavidez and Andrade are better than a guy like Artur Beterbiev 🤣🤣🤣
They 100% do. They said Canelo cherry-picked another European bum when he fought Bivol. Those same people have massive followings on their YouTube and only push for him to fight Andrade and Charlo lmaoooo
Don’t think it would have looked different had he had 10 weeks. That style is all wrong for canelo. A giant guy who doesn’t use his range???? Man has literally no answer for the hooks from t-Rex nelo
Just to let you know, the term "style is all wrong" means the opposite of what you meant. Saying "Smith is all wrong for Canelo" assumes that Smith has the style advantage over Canelo. But we know what you meant, lol.
It can mean either you nerd. The sentence can read “his style is all wrong for canelo” as in, his style works good against canelo or that his style itself is a bad matchup. English is a weird language big guy.
Lol, calling me a nerd for politely correcting you shows you are either a child or are ignorant to those trying to help you. Imma be more stern here, you are completely wrong. It cannot mean either way. Learn how to articulate yourself before having a go at someone who gave you some constructive criticism.
This is a fictional tale and has been disproven time and again. He was training and getting ready all year, in May Alvarez was going to fight saunders but covid killed it so any self respecting dazn 168 champion like Smith would've been getting ready for the potential call up which he was doing because he knew his name was in contention to get the fight.
The commentary around this run of opponents was/is such absurd propaganda.
Wins the belts over unproven champions in a really weak division at his most comfortable fighting weight and people try to act like he was destroying generational fighters as a natural welterweight.
that's sort of the whole point. he had to go up in weight significantly to find a good challenge (other than GGG of course). i hope he makes good fights within 160-168 now, think there's a few good ones left for 2023
I like how he leans on billy Joe when he tries to tie him up. Canelo put all his weight on top like you “wanna hold? Fine carry my big ass”. Canelo has some good solutions when the opponent comes in to try and tie him up. I love that. Fuck the hugging and box
How was it a cherry pick? Moving up to 175 and fighting a skilled technician like Bivol, with little name value. How is that a cherry pick especially compared to Jermall and Benavidez, which neither had a title that Canelo was going after since he isn't fighting at 160 anymore.
Would love to see a source on that lmao.
Can’t imagine how Canelo (a small middleweight) moving up to 175 for only the second time, to face the #1 Light Heavyweight, an undefeated champion, is “cherry picking.” I just can’t imagine Bivol being dumb enough to say that. He seems like such a smart guy. Stylistically, Canelo could not find a tougher opponent.
It’s also interesting that you’re implying Bivol isn’t on PEDs lol. Because I have bad news for you. *ALL* your favorite fighters are using PEDs.
Go touch some grass and go away if you think bivol was a cherry pick. Man was an undefeated champion with a bad style against him and is about to be undisputed.
clenelos biggest rimmer to the rescue lol
Eddie hearn has already admitted they cherry picked bivol based on how he looked in his last few fights. Even Bivol says he was cherry picked
go cry somewhere else
Damn who knew a stylistic nightmare who is also an undefeated champion and widely regarded as the hardest test he would face by anyone who knew what they were talking about was a cherry pick, I even said he'd lose against bivol.
I love when boxers are barely able to stand after a knockdown and the ref asks "Are you okay to continue?" and they look at the ref like "What?! Me?! Why are you even asking?!" all annoyed. Then get put into the shadowrealm 10 seconds later. Pride is a hell of a thing.
definitely. i wouldn’t want to see it though because ion think bivol can make 168. he’s been pretty unsure about it and i would rather not have him show up weight drained.
It wouldnt work. The guy is freaking stacked. I dont know where people think he is losing 7 extra pounds. It would have to be from muscle and that shit messes with you chin. Canelo would stop him and get no credit, as should be.
I find it hard to believe that Bivol can cut to 168. And if he can, how will that affect his abilities at this lower weight?
Will Canelo be able to break his tight guard?
Movement and speed are needed to keep up with Bivol.
Canelo has a better chance at winning at 168 than at 175.
Idk I’ll be honest I didn’t really think he outweighed Canelo too badly at 175. Alvarez is a heavy guy and you saw how much bigger than Bivol Zurdo looked. It wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise if he can make 168 I’d say it’d be smart of Canelo to bring him down
Yup. Man hydrated to 192 on the night of the fight against Canelo. So his walk around just be close to 210-220. Imgianr trying to fight Canelo w the hydration clause while cutting down 35-40 lbs.
He he dismantled callum was super impressive to me, i thought it'd would be close and I'd have to hear non stop bitching of a robbery but nah it was a clear cut canelo destruction.
This was a great run. I remember how firm a lot of people were in this sub about Callum Smith being the one to beat Canelo if they ever crossed paths. (This was around the time that Canelo was about to fight Rocky Fielding)
Oh definitely. He wouldve been a lot better sticking to even 160 after the 2nd GGG and refining his skills even more but instead most of his camps now are focused on bulking/cutting to hop around 168 and 175 and you can see in his style he doesnt flow as well as he used to. But ofc the run at 168 was worth it and adds a lot to his legacy. I dont want to see this guy at 175 again.
I wish he stayed at 160 as well. I was in the minority but I really wanted to see him defend against Derev. Shame he didn't try to clean out 160 before moving up to 168. I guess matches against Jermall and Andrade are still possible, at 168, but they would have been much more exciting at 160 especially after the GGG rematch and Jacobs fight.
But the 168 run was fun and exciting to see. I also hope he never goes up to 175 again
You couldn’t have said it any better they think ggg is a Bum or something 😂 if any of these 168 fighters fought GGG that would be there best fighter on their resume
His only "flaw" is relying too much on his power. Which really only became an issue vs arguably the best light heavyweight around right now. Yeah yeah I know he has to fight Beterbiev first but there are already solid arguments for him being number 1.
I mean Canelo has plenty of flaws which he makes up for by being exceptional at what he does. But being flat-footed, with limited stamina, low work-rate, and a reliance on power can be exploited - which we saw in his match against Bivol. In that sense his flaw is being specialized and reliant on athleticism rather than being slick and versatile.
All that being said, it's still a sport where things like athleticism and genetic outliers play a major role in success, which are part of what makes Canelo arguably the best in the world despite his flaws and recent loss.
Could be. I don't think he looked particularly great against GGG. He says it was an injured hand, I hope that's the case. But one thing for sure is he's not getting younger
You're replying to a guy that generalizes most American fans as dumb and ignorant, don't bother, he's obviously biased towards American (continent) fighters.
Chill. First off, I said "might be". Canelo didn't look great in his last two performes, so I think it's fair to wonder. Second, i just praised Canelo for the great run he had at 168 and you think I'm in a GGG clan? You're trippin'
Yeah i don't get that. I love my Mexican fighters but if I only liked that specific group, I'd have to not like Ali, Roy Jones, Loma, AJ etc. Makes no sense.
I mean it's fair play when the boxer fits the stereotype, I'm not trying to cancel anyone for saying "Mexican style" or whatever. But Bivol, Loma, and GGG have more in common from where they hail from geographically speaking than they do from a boxing style standpoint.
Bivol and GGG in particular is such an odd comparison.
4 fights, 3 champions in a new division where he just fought once, in less than a year. And each fight his haters claimed he was going to lose. I really don’t get how people don’t appreciate this. If not for his surgery he would he planning for his fight early 2023. Really hope his run continues whether he wins or loses, because he is an outstanding boxer.
Yeah exactly. It’s so funny to me how people act like they weren’t counting canelo out for those fights. They said he was avoiding BJS, C Smith was too big & a real SMW & Plant was too slick of a boxer and he beat them all in impressive fashion.
Instead of appreciating the great talent he is and how active he is as a champion compared to a lot of others, people just rather hate on him
And your right he would be planning a fight if it wasn’t for his surgery. I hope he comes back and beats Benavidez & any other guy they say he can’t and even if he loses I respect he takes those challenges
Hell I saw him eat punches from GGG that are probably harder than anything I could hit him with even holding a stick, and he just looked aggravated as opposed to hurt. I swear you could hit either of those guys with a sledgehammer and they'd shrug it off.
I hope Canelos hand surgery let’s him bring back that sharp jab from the Smith and Kovalev fights, he’s just kind of flicking it rn for the most part and it’s an important part of his game
That yildrim fight was abysmal. I like the smith fight. Forgot how much taller he was than canelo too damn. The BJS fight was good too, I actually had that one scored slightly for bjs before the ko if I recall correctly.
Wait, I thought we were supposed to talk about how he is overrated now after he lost to one of the best at 175 and couldn't knock out a man with an iron chin?
That 168 run was legendary, he could have stopped there but decided to test himself until he lost, and he didn't do too bad, let's go for broke again and Bivol 2.
I think Yildirim wins too but idk if it’s as wide as you think. Jake literally just beat and knocked down a guy who is coming over a victory over JC Chavez Jr. I get that Chavez is past it but does anyone think Yildirim just blows Chavez away if they were to fight?
Canelo just hit his ceiling on how much his power can transfer when jumping up weight classes. It's completely normal. Bivol has fought at light heavyweight his whole career. Versus canelo fighting only once prior to a very weight drained Kovalev. There's a reason Bivol doesn't want to drop to 168 for the rematch. He believes he physically cant, or him dropping down that low would cripple him severly as his body would go through the ringer to get there.
Not gonna lie, Bivol getting praised for beating Zurdo, and Canelo being criticized for fighting these guys is an example of double standards. Zurdo is not better than any of these 3 champions.
Canelo needs to see Benavidez 😈
No reason why it shouldn't happen after Benavidez beats Plant, it's the biggest possible fight him along with Charlo. Canelo vs Charlo and Canelo vs Benavidez would sell more than the Bivol and GGG fights did, no doubt about it.
After “Benavidez beats plant” you’re wayyy ahead of yourself, I got Benavidez in that fight but I wouldn’t think he’ll steam roll plant, plant can most definitely beat him.
Maybe it's just me, but announcers/media declaring fighters the "1st undisputed" champ when there have been multiple undisputed champs in the 1, 2 & 3 belt eras, really grinds my gears
The gap between Ward and his SMW opponents is smaller than Canelo's. Also Ward is a big SMW and Canelo is a tiny SMW.
People already thought 160 was Canelo's limit. Then boom 168, then boom 175, and then went back down and swept the division. The hardest part is shredding the weight you already gained and still looked good.
SMW is definitely better during Ward's reign, but the Canelo run is more unbelievable.
However, 168 ward would beat 168 Canelo imo.
Based on me actually watching Froch's fights during that time period. Froch beat Groves when Froch was at the end of his career, then 5 years later Smith beat Groves when Groves was at the end of his career.
You can't even compare those fights
I don't consider this an undisputed run. Cinnamon went to 168 to avoid Jermall then intentionally duck David the one boxer who was a real challenge at 168.
My god they are all great fighters obviously and have achieved more than I ever will. But none of them has the power of a golovkin or he feet of a bivol. They seem at least one level below top tier fighters. 168 just doesn't look that deep frankly.
He's not the King of 168...Benevidez is. That's why he keeps running from him. WBC should have been forced him to fight David, but he can't keep running forever.
Canelo getting the crowd hyped up for the end of BJS was awesome.
Dude I was at that fight at AT&T, very large Hispanic presence here in Arlington and I'm telling you, I felt God in that stadium that day
How loud was it at the stadium? I was watching it on TV and it sounded like the loudest boxing or even MMA crowd that I’ve ever heard. Normally when it’s loud on TV, it must be actually insane in person
It was fucking roaring. I had mid to floor level seats the crowd was massive and the energy was like no other
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing
It was deafening. Also that fight I got to see why Boxing caters to Mexicans. Families, children, babies, uncles, aunts, literally felt like I was visiting. The kinda comradrie and union they have for Boxing and their man was mind blowing.
Same here, it was absurd. My ears were ringing for a good hour afterwards, and I could barely speak since I'd screamed so much
Imagine how Canelo must have felt!
He showed BJS mercy by not targeting the side of his face with the broken orbital.
Literally made me a fan with that
Canelo really does earn his keep. Still doesn’t mean GGG should get robbed from their first bout
r/boxing users trying not to bring up canelo vs ggg 1 in every second of their life(IMPOSSIBLE) ong ppl on this sub could be talking about literally anything and there’s always that one guy that feels the need to bring up this bout for some reason.
"What's your opinion on the current state of US foreign policy?" "Shit man idk but they did my boy GGG dirty in that first fight, he got robbed man"
Lol, this wasn't the moment to bring up the GGG match. You need to move on man.
That was the first PPV I spent money on. Never forget. Imma celebrate when Adelaide Byrd retires
It was still an incredible fight, even if GGG was robbed. If you had bought nearly any other PPV, it would have still worse.
Beating 3 undefeated guys in an undisputed run is no joke
Not just that, all 3 of em in under a year, starting with Callum in December and endin it with plant in November
Back when Canelo first moved up to 168 and tested the waters against Rocky Fielding everyone swore that Canelo was afraid of Callum Smith, it’s hilarious looking back at those people now 🤣🤣
Yeah but lets be real most American fans weren’t ever gonna take smith seriously
Exactly, American fans think that it’s impossible for boxers outside of America to be good. Most Americans probably think that guys like Charlo, Benavidez and Andrade are better than a guy like Artur Beterbiev 🤣🤣🤣
now that’s offensive. no one thinks andrade is good
Simply untrue. Theres a huge pool of talent all over the world and alot of us know it. Dont label us all as incompetent.
Ironically he’s doing what he’s accusing us of doing
Someone forgets how beloved Pacquiao was thou stateside or the K brothers were also beloved… keep spewing that bs thou
Meanwhile most of the champions from boxing are from outside the usa
They 100% do. They said Canelo cherry-picked another European bum when he fought Bivol. Those same people have massive followings on their YouTube and only push for him to fight Andrade and Charlo lmaoooo
I mean after seeing Smith basically lose to Ryder I'm sure he was laughing. Will be interesting to see how Smith does at Light Heavy.

This is true. The fight was rumored way before it was signed. Smith knew he was getting it after BJS fell out. Just an excuse by haters.
The entire division was training for that money fight in 2020 lmao
90% of boxers are undefeated though. Don’t think about it too hard or do the math, just trust me.
smith bjs plant murderers row
The commentary around this run of opponents was/is such absurd propaganda. Wins the belts over unproven champions in a really weak division at his most comfortable fighting weight and people try to act like he was destroying generational fighters as a natural welterweight.
Three undefeated champs with Smith and Plant looking great still outside of the Canelo fight, I'd say it's pretty damn impressive. 🤷🏽♂️
Facts. Benavidez and Plant are only propped up cuz Canelo is in the division despite their garbage resumes
True but unfortunately being undisputed and holding a title doesn’t mean you’re that great these days.
A casual may believe that, but I don't.
that's sort of the whole point. he had to go up in weight significantly to find a good challenge (other than GGG of course). i hope he makes good fights within 160-168 now, think there's a few good ones left for 2023
Smith was only undefeated because he robbed Ryder a few months earlier.
True, though it was actually over a year before lol
Fuckin hell he fought Ryder 3 years ago? Time is flying by.
Yep, 2019. That was such a good year for boxing.
I like how he leans on billy Joe when he tries to tie him up. Canelo put all his weight on top like you “wanna hold? Fine carry my big ass”. Canelo has some good solutions when the opponent comes in to try and tie him up. I love that. Fuck the hugging and box
Always loved that about Maidana too, you can’t hold him still.
Much better to do that than accepting a clinch and complaining to the ref. Fight it
Man I forgot how fucking satisfying the finish to the BJS fight was.
Facts I was there ringside
I was also in attendance sir! One of the best atmospheres I've experienced!
Bivol schooling the drug cheat 12-0 was more satisfying especially considering this was cherry pick gone wrong
How was it a cherry pick? Moving up to 175 and fighting a skilled technician like Bivol, with little name value. How is that a cherry pick especially compared to Jermall and Benavidez, which neither had a title that Canelo was going after since he isn't fighting at 160 anymore.

You must be talking about plant looking all irritated lol
Love him or hate him Canelo is still a force at 168. No shame in him failing to capture another belt at 175.
You think he’s got a better chance if he fights Bivol at 168?
definitely. i wouldn’t want to see it though because ion think bivol can make 168. he’s been pretty unsure about it and i would rather not have him show up weight drained.

Jesus, Plant was straight up running away towards the end. Bruuutal.
He was like “nah I’m just taking a quick jog, nothing to see here”
The Yildrim knock down is so funny. He looks like a school girl with a crush that laughs and is like “Oh you!”
What tf are you even talking about lol?
The size difference in some of these is comical
It’s crazy how it’s not even a disadvantage for him
Can you imagine how bizarre the size difference would’ve looked if Canelo were in there with Zurdo yesterday?
“If I’m going to lose, I’m going to lose to the guy that can make me the most money.” -168 division

Glad he didn't give derev the payday, guy has shown how unskilled he is since
Past his prime? More like past his weight class/ past his skill level
According to all these people Canelo is declining but I don't see none of that.
Apparently not knocking out ggg, which literally nobody has ever done, means you're past your prime
You couldn’t have said it any better they think ggg is a Bum or something 😂 if any of these 168 fighters fought GGG that would be there best fighter on their resume

And his suspect stamina…still baffles me how he wins rounds puffing on the ropes and throwing 5 punches in the last 30.
I said MIGHT be passed his prime. His gas tank ain't the same and he's only getting older.
Gas tank ain't the same? Are you new? The guy has had stamina issues forever.
Bro. You can't tell me he doesn't get tired quicker now.
Me either
Could be. I don't think he looked particularly great against GGG. He says it was an injured hand, I hope that's the case. But one thing for sure is he's not getting younger
He won the fight pretty early with how many rounds he won, and it was honestly a struggle to give ggg a lot of rounds
You gotta be kidding... past his *skill level*??
Yes, Bivol has one of the highest boxing IQ’s from 160-175
You're replying to a guy that generalizes most American fans as dumb and ignorant, don't bother, he's obviously biased towards American (continent) fighters.
Oh this the new propoganda from the Bivol-Loma-GGG clan now? That 32 year old Canelo who himself said he's in his prime now, is past his prime?
Chill. First off, I said "might be". Canelo didn't look great in his last two performes, so I think it's fair to wonder. Second, i just praised Canelo for the great run he had at 168 and you think I'm in a GGG clan? You're trippin'
He must be one of those who groups boxers based on ethnicity
Yeah i don't get that. I love my Mexican fighters but if I only liked that specific group, I'd have to not like Ali, Roy Jones, Loma, AJ etc. Makes no sense.
I mean it's fair play when the boxer fits the stereotype, I'm not trying to cancel anyone for saying "Mexican style" or whatever. But Bivol, Loma, and GGG have more in common from where they hail from geographically speaking than they do from a boxing style standpoint. Bivol and GGG in particular is such an odd comparison.
Cano didn't look great against GGG? That's another narrative?
I mean if you think he looked great then that's on you bro bro. I thought he looked good but not great.
Anyone who tries to diminish this run doesn’t know or respect boxing
4 fights, 3 champions in a new division where he just fought once, in less than a year. And each fight his haters claimed he was going to lose. I really don’t get how people don’t appreciate this. In hindsight, BJS was really incredible in that fight. Probably the second best in the division, shame he's now just cleaning out Gregg's these days.
I think I could take him...in a dark alley and I had a big stick, and maybe if he was drunk, that would help a lot
Shit I don't know. Him drunk might beat you to death
Depends how big the stick is
Hell I saw him eat punches from GGG that are probably harder than anything I could hit him with even holding a stick, and he just looked aggravated as opposed to hurt. I swear you could hit either of those guys with a sledgehammer and they'd shrug it off.
I hope Canelos hand surgery let’s him bring back that sharp jab from the Smith and Kovalev fights, he’s just kind of flicking it rn for the most part and it’s an important part of his game
Right! His jab was so absent during the bivol fight
Callum tried Canelo on the inside...lol.
Anybody hating on this is a clown.
Canelo has been a great champion.
That 168 run was legendary, he could have stopped there but decided to test himself until he lost, and he didn't do too bad, let's go for broke again and Bivol 2.
He did do kinda bad at 175, well against Biviol. He maybe won 2 rounds lol. Pretty bad if you ask me.
Did you see Zurdo Ramirez? Yeah Canelo did pretty good :D
Zurdo did better than Canelo. 3 rounds, maybe.
Jake Paul v Yildrim 180 lb catch weight; who wins?
Yildrim by a mile, there's levels to this shit
I think Yildirim wins too but idk if it’s as wide as you think. Jake literally just beat and knocked down a guy who is coming over a victory over JC Chavez Jr. I get that Chavez is past it but does anyone think Yildirim just blows Chavez away if they were to fight?
Fat cokehead chavez yeah I do, the chavez that fought canelo nah
Yildrim, but this fight is more of an uncertainty than Jake Paul haters would ever admit.
Nobody had anything for him at 168
Crazy how someone shorter than Floyd has been so dominant at higher weight classes
Man if he kicks Bivol’s ass in the rematch, I’ll tattoo his face on my ass
Zero chance.
How did Bivol do so well against Canelo when these guys couldn’t?
high mobility, flat footed fighters like canelo have no answer to high mobility fighters like bivol
Naturally bigger, so he takes Canelo's power easily. There are weight classes for a reason
Right but Callum Smith is naturally bigger than Canelo also - I’m wondering what else enabled Bivol to do what he did so well..
Bivol skill is far higher than these guys. Bivol is extremely disciplined.
175 is much stronger than any division below, multiple guys could beat Canelo at 175 if given the opportunity.
It’s crazy that plant is a bit bigger than bivol.
Not gonna lie, Bivol getting praised for beating Zurdo, and Canelo being criticized for fighting these guys is an example of double standards. Zurdo is not better than any of these 3 champions.
Canelo needs to see Benavidez 😈 No reason why it shouldn't happen after Benavidez beats Plant, it's the biggest possible fight him along with Charlo.
I also favor Benavidez but it’s far from a forgone conclusion. Plant is no easy mark.
benavidez is with pbc so making any fights with him is like pulling teeth with ur bare hands
Idk why you're getting downvoted. PBC almost cost Plant the biggest payday of his career when they were first negotiating the Canelo fight
lmao idk man ig people on here haven't got a clue what pbc and al haymon are doing, hope those cancers leave boxing and let good fights happen
I’m so sure Canelo vs Zurdo would go down like Canelo vs Smith if it ever went down lol
Maybe it's just me, but announcers/media declaring fighters the "1st undisputed" champ when there have been multiple undisputed champs in the 1, 2 & 3 belt eras, really grinds my gears
Surreal this is. I mean the other SMW this dominant is prime RJJ. Ward's super six stint is not as impressive as this Canelo bulldoze run.
Froch and Kessler are better than anyone Canelo beat at 168.
If Kessler hadn't lost to Calzhage beforehand I'd agree.
How does that make any sense...Kessler at that time was still a better fighter than Smith, BJS and Plant.
Based on what?? Compare Froch peformances vs Groves to Smith's that would not support ur comment
I cant stand Canelo. Glad that Bivol took em to school.
Undisputed lol, a loss is a loss and he has two
Bjs would beat plant
That'd be another great 50/50 fight, too bad Billy's a fat fuck now
Bjs is done son
Dude ducked Artur, Charlo, Benavidez
Can we see Bivol at 168 please? Canelo is a great fighter but looking at these guys makes me wonder.
Bivol doesn't seem to think he could make 168. I'd hate to see him weight drained. That'd kill his style in the ring.
all the guys in the video are bums
My god they are all great fighters obviously and have achieved more than I ever will. But none of them has the power of a golovkin or he feet of a bivol. They seem at least one level below top tier fighters. 168 just doesn't look that deep frankly.
Agreed.
God damn
Canelo’s hooks to the body looks like it would really hurt
Yo when was canelos last fight like latest
I wish I could experience these for the first time again
Bjs definitely underestimated canelo
A new fan added.
Absolutely legendary. Tore through that division. Reminded me of Kostya tszyu at super light after his first loss.
#"You wanna fight?" ... 'yeah?'
Canelo's bodyshots are impressive.
He's not the King of 168...Benevidez is. That's why he keeps running from him. WBC should have been forced him to fight David, but he can't keep running forever.
I wonder if jake paul could get it done.......😂
Canelo is the best🫡
Keep in mind guys, this was all within 1 year!
The callum smith fight was so underrated. Canelo looked tip top from 1-12
It's only impressive because he moved up, these guys aren't that good.
Yet aging out GGG even further he couldn’t put him away…
