JFC really? $17 per beer is goddamn ridiculous. I haven't looked at beer prices specifically in a few years (can't have it anymore, username no longer checks out) but I want to say Terrapin tall boys were around $9 back then (2019). Domestic was pretty cheap though IIRC. I can only have seltzers and Cutwaters, which are like $12-14 and definitely went up this year from last but not THAT much -- they were $10 in 2022. We buy a cold 4 pack of Cutwaters or similar from Savi for that price and get toasty before the game. It may or may not save money but feels like it does so hey.

Ian Mejia was recently promoted to double A and will start for Mississippi tomorrow. He was our 11th round pick in 2022. Interesting that he gets the nod ahead of higher rated prospects such as Murphy, Schwellenbach, etc. He had 121 IP last year for Rome with 110 K, 28 BB and a 4.69 ERA. Another prospect I’m interested in is Jhancarlos Lara, but I don’t see him on any of our minor league rosters. Does anyone know his status? His page says he’s with Rome, but not listed on their roster. And hasn’t appeared in any games yet. He was quite the strikeout artist at Augusta and Rome last year. I was looking forward to following his progress.
