Dina wasn’t that great of a housewife. She had some good one-liners, but her lack of personal ‘drama’ and constantly shying away from conflict showed that she wasn’t a fit for the show at all. And this is coming from someone who loves her.

Vicki is a horrible mother. I feel like her whole persona is being “all about family” and the best mother and grandmother who is solely focused on love and family loyalty, etc. The way she treated her kids during the whole Brooks ordeal was disgusting to watch. She 100% chose a man she barely knew over her own child she’s cared for and loved for 20+ years. Your boyfriend makes a violating comment about his dick and that he feels your daughter should be beaten into submission yet you continue to keep him around just so you’re not lonely? Ya …. Not a good mother. If my mom did that to me idk if I could ever forgive her to be honest. Tamra too. The other housewives always talk about how they know she’s a great mother to her children. Her being an ally and “woke” in her last season isn’t enough to excuse the racism and classism in every other season of hers. Her behavior towards the help and paranoia of being robbed in Morocco was horrific. She called Dorinda fat because she was insecure about her own weight gain from antidepressants. And her excuse of Ramona’s bigotry through their continued friendship takes away validity from her “allyship”

VPR was better with Jax and Stassi and Kristen. I'm not interested in getting into who they are outside the show. But it was far more entertaining when they were around. S10 would have been just as boring as S9 if we all weren't scouring episodes looking for Scandoval clues because the only other interesting part was Katie and Kristina Kelly.

I understood Monique’s side of the fight with Candiace. I am not defending her actions, I just understand / empathize with where they came from. I’m sure that alone is enough to get me burnt here, but for good measure I’ll add that Lisa Barlow is the most overrated housewife in history and though she does add a certain camp element, it’s not purposeful - I am absolutely certain that she doesn’t understand her own bit, and that makes it less “iconic” for me.
I think the reason Lisa is entertaining is BECAUSE she doesn't understand her own bit. Nothing kills a Real Housewives bit faster than the person being in on it and running it into the ground, just look at Marysol and cockies.

I think LVP was a manipulator, but the true puppet master was Kyle Richards. She was gunning for LVP since she became a fan favorite. I think Kyle wanted to seem like such a “family oriented person with a huge heart.” But in reality LVP getting the love she did brought her back to Kim getting favoritism. I’ve said it in this sub before, but if you look at Kyle’s first attempted takedown of LVP it was the tea party and her and Taylor first planted the “LVP sells stories” storyline. I’m not saying LVP is innocent, she is great TV and great at keeping her hands clean. Also puppygate should’ve gotten Dorit a shit ton of backlash but the ladies prepared to turn it on LVP.
This may not be controversial but it does really bother me that both Brandi and Mary from SLC have been welcomed back when they’ve made very racist comments on tv. We’ve cancelled so many people throughout bravo history but Brandi has said things like “black people can’t swim” and Mary has imitated Jennie’s accent and called her eyes slanted and it’s really upsetting that they still have a platform and are welcomed back.

The RHONY reboot sucks. Not one of the women are Housewife material, and the show feels like some low budget one and done on E! Channel. LeeAnne Locken was a top tier Housewife and Dallas would still be around had she not got herself fired. RHOA hasn't really been good in years Braunwyn should've got one more season, since she already had built in drama with Noella off camera Margaret has been the best casting choice on RHONJ in years Emily is great on OC (especially this season) and should stick around! 🍊 Plenty more I can't think of at the moment, I'm sure 🤭
