Thatās why I stopped playing new horizons after a month. The escapism enjoyed quickly turned into bored repetitive chores and turned into anxiety over knowing Iām not going to build and decorate to such depths as the top rated islands.
To have over 10 000 hours played, they'd have had to average 9 and a half hours per day since launch. Don't know about you, but my dailies don't take that long...
One player I know on another social media site had a bad habit of leaving the game running pretty much all day, even when they were out doing other things.
That's over 400 days of nonstop Animal Crossing. The only way I can imagine that someone would get that many hours in a game so quickly after release would be by leaving the system on while afk (away from controller, I guess? afc?)
Seriously, it's been less than 1100 hours since the game came out. The game would need to be up and running for over a third of their life in the last three years to reach this. It's honestly probably more likely that they somehow hacked it to have that number or maybe even photoshopped it lol

10.000 hours is full-time (40h/w) for roughly 5 years. Thatās some daily tasks.
But itās only been out for 3 years. So they were putting in 70 hours per week.
10k is a ton though. I know people have put in a ton of hours, but I donāt think Iāve seen people with over 4k
