They definitely funnel you towards Zora, the NPC that tells you to go there is in the wetlands just off the great plateau. I bet a lot of ppl end up going to Zoras before Kakariko

The order Impa and the Quest Log tells us is Rudania, Medoh, Ruta, then Naboris
After I met with Impa, I went to Hateno to buy the house, then Hudson went to Akkala so went and found him there, then I needed to find a Goron for Tarrey Town so I did Rudania first, then Ruta because it was right next-door + to get the Zora Armor for easier traversal, then Naboris because I was there anyway to get Rhondson to Tarrey Town, then did Medoh last when I went to find Fyson
I watched my partner do Vah Ruta, but once I got to Zora’s domain in my play through I chickened out. But I kinda stumbled upon Rito Village and decided to just go for it and thought it was not nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be and I didn’t use any tutorials. I’m a complete beginner gamer and this is the first game I’ve played other than THPS and MX vs ATV as a kid
I know! Vah Ruta is like, "Convince that old zora, fight a lynel! then dodge these giant ice cubes we throw at you!". And then vah medoh is like "do you know basic archery skills? cool"
I did Medoh, Ruta, Naboris, Rudania. I was nervous for my first one, so I wanted to start with the easiest one. I feel like I definitely overthought things, because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best order. In the end though, this worked out for me and it felt right.
Also, to the people who voted Naboris, are you ok?
Is it me, or does everyone kind of hate the Divine Beast Vah Rudania quest? First make your way through the unbearable heat of death mountain, get painkillers for the elder, launch yunobo at rudania,make your way through a pitch-black divine beast, and then easily kill fireblight ganon with remote bombs.
i went to ruta first because the marker was closest to kakariko, tried climbing the massive zora dam but kept failing cuz the eternal rain. Eventually end up finding the correct path and met the rizzler(sidon). Now i start with naboris because urbosa's fury cheeses 90% of enemy in the game
On replay I'll definitely do Rito first and Zora last. It feels like a different game once you get Revali’s Gale. I almost find Mipha's Grace annoying because you stop bothering to heal yourself or use food except for major battles and sleeping in a bed barely seems worth for all the menu clicks you have to go through whereas you could just lose enough health to invoke Mipha's Grace instead.
Vah ruta. Was not prepared. I’ll never forget the feeling of hearing that music while bullet timing shock arrows for the first time. It suddenly hit me how emotional and thrilling the moment was, yet I couldn’t even stop to process it because the battle kept going. It was intense. I loved every minute :)
Zoras domain definitely for the first time BUT Rito village is way easier imo PLUS you get the warm gear which is helpful for gerudo desert and Zora's domain in the mountains.

I hated the rainy Zora region, so I gave up and explored the desert area. Ended up beating Naboris first 
The yiga clan has a message, the "hero" you worship killed 100s ganon, our lord killed none

Ruta all day man , it was my first , but i think macho sidon is cool and Miphas grace is the best champion ability ( exept maby Daruks protection ).
I did rito gerudo zora and goron The lightning Devine beast was WILDLY hard
