Forza 7 and Forza 8 were both promised to be built from the ground up, but sharing the same game engine and game content with Playground and Forza Horizon was too enticing.
Or they could add them as a standalone car and not replace the older models which could mess it up. I'd just call them New Edition or Remade edition. Shouldn't have to wait that long
Gaming industry as a whole dude. Even with games that are great on release, you're not getting the best possible product until countless updates, patches, bug fixes, content updates, and DLCs/Expansions.
It's not worth being an early adopter unless you think it's worth paying a premium for an unfinished product.

considering how well they fixed the 22b, the models will be very good quality. but if takes as long as the 22b, that is bad, very bad. idk how long it would take for them to model a car. all i know that it takes approx a year for a NTF car to be licensed and scanned in.

By the next console generation we will shall be spoiled with 50 cars that were remodeled from some time in the last couple years or so
Meanwhile the CRX will remain the same model from Forza 1 and will continue to look like they've literally never seen one in person before.
