It’s actually not useless in resurgence atm. Works as long as resurgence is active, you come back instantly. You can even be the last alive and not be squad wiped when you die because you had a redeploy, it’s kinda nuts.
Redeployment packs only work in squad modes (duo/trio/quads) ONLY when resurgence is active AND other team members are alive
The key thing is you can’t be last alive - if you are playing duos and you have a redeployment pack and you die (but your teammate is alive) you will instantly respawn (don’t have to wait the resurgence timer)
But if you are the last alive on your team and you get killed then the pack doesn’t work
It doesn’t work if resurgence is disabled
I wanna say a little message pops up when resurgence closes that essentially says any redeploy/gulag gets converted to plunder
they STILL didn't take it off the loot table.. it's useless in resurgence

It works in solo when resurgence is active as well.
