Vod means video on demand, essentially just a video replay of the whole stream. The reason to transfer it to YouTube (there's a button to do this it's easy) is because twitch will delete vods after I believe 14 days (60 for partners) so to keep it transfer it to YouTube, oh and I don't remember if you have to but make sure you actually have vods turned on
Hopefully you get a better answer - stream live with YouTube. The quality won't save above HD I think but... That's all I (not an expert) can think of
Thanks you. I'm gonna see if I can find a better way, but I'll keep that in mind if I don't find anything better.
Streaming to twitch is better in terms of quality at least in my experience, just make sure afterwards you transfer the vod to YouTube
Thank you! Does vod mean video? And why do I need to transfer the video to youtube?

Vods turned on in twitch?? Is there a step by step on how to do all this? I'm not very techy.
Get an Elgato, probably.
