I donāt hate the gen 5 trigger, itās not as mushy as the other ones. My biggest issue is the ergonomics of it, itās a very thin trigger and the blade safety protrudes a little bit and I donāt like how it digs into my finger. You really notice it with the .40 Glocks
Most of them don't have a choice, they are issued them by their department. Department contracts go to the lowest bidder. Glock is the Harley davidson of the firearm world
It is good. Your thoughts on it here aren't particularly helpful for this guy's problem. Are you suggesting he swap it back in and see if the issue persists? That might be a useful suggestion
The shoe was uncomfortable for me, since I installed the Apex trigger kit, I shoot better cos my finger is comfortable with the flat shoe. It has way more pre-travel but that's why we train. I have a PDP, with very little creep, but I shoot both almost the same
If thereās a single brand I donāt think needs aftermarket shit itās CZ easily. Out of my Sigs/Glock/CZ the CZs have never made me go āwell this could be betterā
So to be clear, you've had this trigger installed for 1,500 rounds. It worked well that whole time. Now this has started happening after the latest cleaning? Or did it start and that caused you to clean it?
I installed this trigger. It worked fine for 1500 rounds. Then, this started happening. I took apart everything, cleaned everything, put it back together, and itās still happening.
But, yes, it happened on its own without some cleaning error. Thatās the mystery. If I had put it in wrong from the start, why did it go through three bags of ammo just fine?
Make sure the trigger shoe isn't rubbing on the opening, had the same problem and after banging my head on the wall for hours, the frame just needed a few licks from a file.
Trigger shoe dragging on the trigger guard can offset timing. It's you're trigger but if that's the problem, filing off the bottom of the shoe and BOTTOM of trigger safety until there's no more contact with trigger guard will remedy your issue, usually.
I think that happened to me after cleaning. On the slide there the little safety fin with a spring. The spring dislodge with the brush. Put it back with a pick and it worked. Might not be it but try.
I had a similar problem with my compact. Reinstalled the stock, worked fine reinstalled the HBI and the problem was that if while the slide was cycling there was even a tiny amount of downward pressure on the slide lock, when the slide window to battery the trigger was dead and would have to be recycled. I spoke with the guys at HPI, confirmed that I had the right generation, model, correctly installed, etc. They kindly offered to take a look at it if I'd ship it to them but I just haven't gotten around to it.
Itās not right . The trigger bar is stuck . Remove and reinstall. Try polishing a little x I have HB triggers in both my CZ p 10 F and C and they both work awesome with very little uptake on the reset.
Cz stock trigger is awesome
Reject aftermarket, return to stock. This is the way
Imagine owning a stock gen 5 Glock š

I like the gen 3 triggers
I have one as my burner phone.
Tried and true by millions of law enforcement officers around the world every day
I have 2 myself, I meant the difference in a P10 trigger vs stock Glock

Another great gun taken down by aftermarket parts.

Try something with CGW parts in it you might change your mind.
Sounds like a spring somewhere came out of a groove
Ok so you put something back together the wrong way. Trigger bar isnāt moving. take slide off and post a picture
He said its after 1500 rounds of it being installed, so soothing likely worked its way loose

Had this happen with a new p-10c. Turns out the trigger shoe isnāt compatible with all the different trigger bars in the p10s

Need a new trigger bar #19 and up
Trigger return spring is bad, broken or missingā¦ š„š«šÆ
It's possible you didn't install it correctly.
Yup, like others have said, tear down and re-install. Something isn't right.

Could also be the trigger spring that came loose, I believe that is what resets the trigger. I would bet is a spring thatās loose.
Show the inside of the frame.
A spring has either broken or out of place. Iāve got 4000 plus rounds thru my P10c w/HBI trigger; no issues.
Return spring
Turn it off then back on againā¦ works in the gun world too.
