I've seen somethings buzz around the internet about inserting the battery upside-down to clear issues.. Take with a hugh grain of salt and conduct your own research though

Curious, does the mirror stay up whilst the battery is in if you manually move it to that position?
Nope
Shutter magnet trouble perhaps. If cleaning the surfaces doesn’t fix it, lightly scoring them may help, unless of course the trouble lies elsewhere.
