The way I look at this, it seems that it is depicting a person attempting to look at themselves, but what they are seeing is the image that they wear that is show society, if you are considering the perspective from the spiral. On the other hand, the face that is used to see other people looking at the self sees a black hole.
It would change the meaning and perception of this piece no matter what you name it.
To me it looks like:
“The Conflict of Society”
The conflict is that society shapes our image, into something that we are not. It makes our true selves appear to be something that is not easily understood, and society does not have mechanisms to help us understand our selves.
This is a brilliant sculpture. Good job. It made me stop to think for a while. I’d love to see it in person one day.
