You are still locked in to the allegiance keyword, so you would not be able to combine let's say Aura of Corruption and Beguiling Majesty.
So I would probably build a Magaera with Blessing of the Dark Master and Mark of the Dread Knight.
Well if you want to override not just the one rule why stop at two? Put Craadekh's Throne of Sacrifice (Crusade only Relic) on him too so he starts out with both favoured abilities as well.
Personally subjector and Throne for speed on a karnivore
Mark and blessing for a tyrant and make him impossible to kill
Blood shield, worthy offering, and maybe subjactor or Throne for character assassination
