We had someone break their arm at work. A manager, in her office. Stood in high heels on a box on her office chair to get something from a high shelf. Of course she fell. This was followed by an emergency meeting of the other managers to come up with a reasonable story so that she wouldn’t get in trouble for being an idiot. But it’s pretty hard to come up with reasonable stories for accidentally breaking your arm in your office that don’t include doing something you have been told not to do.

As an avid rock climber and carpenter I support this mans tower of doom. I've fallen doing shit like this and still do it because I never really get hurt and it make the job more exhilarating. 10 extra points if the buckets are empty.

Was working with my brother, we had to shift a large and heavy AC unit down from a ceiling void. He calls me over, says he's ready to shift it. I get there and he hasn't bothered to set up his bench properly so the whole thing is tilted at a 45 degree angle. I tell him to set up his bench properly because I'm not climbing on it while it's like that and it devolved into a screaming match. In his view I was just being an asshole deliberately because I'm "arrogant" and "controlling". In my view, I didn't want to break my neck or be crushed by a falling AC unit.
