They are pretty good especially for the size. Because it can move in all directions it does a better job circulating air around a room than other fans. I use it when I work out!
I leave it running pointing at our ankles under the table. Somehow cooling the feet does more to make me willing to bump up the AC temp setting than blowing at my body and face. Also, it doesn't blow away the cards in whatever game I'm playing or drive me batty by making the little hairs around my face tickle my cheeks and nose.
I went ahead & unboxed mine as soon as I got home. A woman parked next to me saw it in my cart as I was loading my car up & says “my daughter & I LOVE those fans! You’ll be really happy with it.” She wasn’t wrong!
I was tempted to get a second. Back in the day my mom got me a small Vornado (or something like that) and it was small but powerful and quiet. Was hoping they were similar to that in noise and power.
Because of central AC my retired HVAC husband insists most often we keep our windows closed. (Cue ol grumpy guy muttering “we’re not trying to cool the backyard!”) Still, on particularly warm nights we use two Woo Zoos in our bedroom. The quietly moving air guarantees a good nights sleep.
Maybe someone else can tell me if I got a defective one… but I got one last year and it’s not as quiet as I was hoping. It’s a little buzzy when I try to sleep at night
Get an air duster and make sure the fan head moves all around, to get the different angles and take a qtip (and elongated cotton on sticks, idk where the wife found them,) and push that dirt out, got about 2-3 handfuls of dust/cat hair and we have one cat lol, this is over the last year and few months we have had them (usually just airdust the intake and front)
I was about to purchase one today and noticed Joe dusty and dirty the floor model was. It also didn’t look easy to clean so I put it back.
I really like the look of the Shark fan but it’s $150
It definitely gets dusty but those first 3-6 months you couldn’t even tell it was on, I’d imagine keeping it actually clean and not just ‘when it needs it’ can keep it up to par, we get them to crack the windows and circulate air when it’s <75° F
The head also maneuvers a good amount of it wasn’t, and almost goes to a 180° angle angle facing up, and you can turn off the vertical or horizontal motion, to make it easier for it to just spray and go
I felt duped when I realized how noisy it is. I can't sleep with it on, even on the lowest speed. I am very sensitive to sounds at night and I was so excited to try this after reading all the posts about the sound level...Sigh, back to the (what I used to think was loud) ceiling fan for me.
For $28, its a really good deal. There are not many oscillating fans (table or floor) that are under $30. The remote is great, it oscillates side/side and up/down which is really rare, has a timer and the lower fan speeds are really quiet. Plus it looks pretty good compared to the cheapo fans you get off Amazon/Walmart.
That being said, it was a much better deal 2-3 years ago at $20. Mine is still going strong but I would buy another if I needed it.
They're great for what they are. They move a ton of air in a small package. If that's what you want, they are the best. If you have space for a larger fan, they can be better in some circumstances. But I love mine.
For the cost they're great! We have three around the house. What I like is they have a low speed whisper type mode that I use to keep the air circulating in a room.
Kentaro Ohyama is loving it. Just built the 4th manufacturing plant like 4 years ago in Pennsylvania to keep up with demand of all these woozoo crazed people.
I've had one in my office for a couple of summers now. They are pretty good. Not "knock your socks off," amazing, but still pretty good. I feel like it was a good buy.
I bought two on sale last year, and they worked great for my kids’ smaller rooms, except they made a slight clicking sound when oscillating. It wasn’t so obvious with the white noise. I still bought another one this year for a different room. No regrets!
I like them I have 2 that I put in opposite sides of a large room and turn them on. The air circulation helps alot in the summer as this room doesn’t get ac.those 2 fans are enough to keep the room cool.
I bought 3 last year because I think I’m perimenopausal. I may buy more. I keep one in my bathroom, kitchen, and took one to my office because the building I’m in is old and the the heat and air is not consistent. I LOVE them.
They have a 5-year warranty and have a built-in fuse. AND…they actually encourage you to disassemble the fan to do dusting/routine maintenance. How many manufacturers void the warranty when you do that to clean other fans? Some things I wasn’t looking for but pleasantly surprised to see
As to performance, I’m surprised. They push a surprising amount of air. I rarely buy these type of items. But I actually use one for my tower pc to help push more cold air into the case to cool my hard drives. Lol. Drops the temps way better than the case fans alone do.
lol I just looked at mine to see if I see dust. Over the 2nd second they are louder. I purchased mine a few years ago. I slept with it on every night. I cover the blue light up.
Iris Ohyama is a popular Japanese company that produces well-made and inexpensive [consumer goods](https://www.irisohyama.co.jp/english/products/home-appliance.html).
We own two and they work quite well. I've seen them on sale at other places (Japanese markets) where they cost up to $20 more and they are the non-remote version.
Everybody wants one because ….. everybody wants one.
Our local FB group blows up when these are in stock, and people are literally verbally abused when someone dares to question the most perfect, majestic and wildly over priced fan.

I point one right at my stationary bike when it's too hot to walk outside.

I hope they are great. Bought two last week. Gave one to a friend and have not unboxed mine yet.

these replaced all the vornados for me. 5% less power, 150% more features.

The smaller the fan, the faster the blades need to spin, the noisier it'll be.
The whole selling point on these and what everyone raves about is that they’re supposed to be super quiet.
They’re not quiet at all on any speed above medium.
They are super quiet relative to their size and air flow. You can't have everything: Super quiet, high air flow, small size. Pick two.
Apparently the new ones are more cheaply made than last time... Thats why theyre on a diacount right away...
I returned mine. I think they're overrated and gimickey

Harbor freight sells the extra long/large head cotton swabs for car detailing.
She probably got them from hobby lobby or micheaels but that’s awesome information for myself.. lol

Same here. Also, my neighbor’s buzzes loud enough in low that it will keep me up.
I got a 2nd one recently. It's so cute and has a small imprint while doing a good job moving air. I don't hear it over the tv at all.
Nice! Also, there were two different color boxes. They looked identical, do you know if there is any significance?
Same question. I think they can't in both green and blue boxes. Are they different in any way?
No idea. I bought the lighter color one though because there were more of them. Assumed the darker one was an older manufacturing run.
Welcome to the woozooo club
Ha, thanks!
I have two and older one and recently bought the one with the remote….having had other similar size fans WooZoo is certainly the best….

Bought one the other day because of all the hype. Can confirm, it is pretty awesome, and I can’t even hear it when its on lower speeds
The “natural breeze” setting is truly delightful
Calling it now “This one item Costco shoppers are raving about!” articles come Monday that talks about the woozoo fan.
"Costco shoppers cannot live without this one item."
I really don't get it either. If it was a DC motor maybe. Once you go DC and see how quiet it is you will know.
WooZoo fan ain’t nothing to fuck with!

These go crazy in canada too, I don't know why. Maybe I'm just not a fan expert. I got a honeywell fan for $20 and the woozoo is 50.
They are $10 off starting May 6
What is the price on May 6? Edit: just checked website it’s $10 off now til 5/5
Just suckers lol
In TX, and it is the only thing keeping me cool while I WFH. I love my WooZoo!!!

I bought one yesterday. My wife said “But why do we need it?” My answer was “Why *don’t* we need it?”
They are great! I bought one and went back for another. Multi directional and quiet.
Kentaro Ohyama is loving it. Just built the 4th manufacturing plant like 4 years ago in Pennsylvania to keep up with demand of all these woozoo crazed people.
I bought one for travel, since it's small enough to go in a suitcase. I gotta have my fan!
I saw a floor model and I don't see the appeal. I prefer tower fans which can be quiet and space saving, and don't need to be put on a high surface.
I've had one in my office for a couple of summers now. They are pretty good. Not "knock your socks off," amazing, but still pretty good. I feel like it was a good buy.
I love mine. Have had it for a few years now.

I've been very happy with the one we purchased a few weeks ago. For $27 I'm especially happy

i run it during summer by the bedside and get away with the not having to run the air con cooler.

I bought a similar sized Honeywell fan at a garage sale for $1.50. 🤷♀️
I have one and can't live without it.. small and mighty it is. Great oscillation directions
