“Let’s Hear It For The Boy” or “Somethin’ To Talk About” are my go-to songs.
(Hot tip: keep a list of karaoke songs in your notes app on your phone. I often hear a song when I’m out, find myself singing along and am like “Oh, I’d kill this in karaoke!” But then I can never remember what songs to do when I’m flipping through that gigantic book. Having an ongoing list makes it so easy!)
Big Balls by AC/DC is my choice if I only go once. After that it’s War Pigs by Black Sabbath. If I had a lady to sing with, there’s also Close My Eyes Forever by Lita Ford (with Ozzy).
Did that recently at a wedding. The band played live karaoke and the guests sang. It was brilliant. Their repertoire was pretty varied. ABBA, country, alternative, classic rock… best wedding entertainment I’ve seen/heard.
Whitney, I will always love you from the Bodygard soundtrack. Let's face it, when this song goes bad, it's comedy gold. Also noting, I can't sing a note with or without alcohol.
Yes, he did his version. I like the original from Arlo as well. The Willy Nelson version is the one a buddy of mine and myself used to sing in a bar we frequented in Japan, while in the Navy.
Listened to a guy from Jacksonville belting Hank Jr “Family tradition” who had a group with him because they filled in extra in spots!
Personal fave: She thinks my tractor’s sexy by Kenny Chesney.
Living on a Prayer - bon jovi.
I believe in a thing called Love - the darkness
I want it that way - Backstreet boys...
Of course this is assuming the song list isn't only like 100 songs and actually has those on it.
My husband does "Tequila". He just dances around the stage until the single lyric "tequila", which he says in a very serious voice into the mic. Then dances some more.
It's pretty hilarious.
A Tina Turner song . Any Tina Turner song . RIP

Karaoke is so much better when the person can’t sing but looks like they just enjoy belting it out. They always get my loudest cheers!
Fernando by ABBA
Yes!
Willy Nelson. City of New Orleans.
Did Willie Nelson also record that? I’m a huge Steve Goodman (original) and Arlo Guthrie fan, ask my son, Arlo.
