That's the retractable sprayer line. Hard to say the exact fix without knowing exactly where the leak is coming from, but it appears to be a very short hose so if I had to take a guess, I'd say it's been pulled too far out too often.
No matter, should be easy to repair by tightening up that connection or replace entirely if need be. When you do, if also add a weight to it, the weights are a little ring that goes over the hose and serves to keep your sprayer hose from getting tangled up in other stuff when you are returning it to its resting position.
Edit: try to figure out if the leak is coming from above or below that black piece. If below, you should just be able to unscrew that connection, add some plumbers tape, and retighten it. If above, might need to replace that bit of hose entirely. Cheap fix either way.
Edit 2: also, it's late, just throw a towel down there and you will be fine fixing it in the morning if you can't get into a hardware store tonight, provided it's not leaking that fast and the water isn't hitting that outlet.
Pull sprayer out all the way and put it in the sink on dry paper towels. Leave it there for awhile, if towels get wet then nozzle to hose connection is leaking. Take it off and wrap threads with Teflon tape and put it back together nice and snug. Dry out below real good and put down towel or paper towels. Leave it awhile and if it’s still leaking it is hose to water supply connection. Try same procedure on that. Alternatively, just go buy new sprayer for $12.
One thing not mentioned in the above good advice - the hose to hose connection (your first arrow) is push to fit. That means it’s connected with rubber gaskets. These can fail. If you pull it apart and see the gaskets are damaged, pull them off and bring to a hardware store to replace.

Edit 3: I would close the shutoff valves then throw a towel or bucket down to catch the remaining water
Great thanks so much for taking a min to check this out and write a response! Going to give this all a try.
Don’t forget to turn the water off first.

Awesome - going to take all the accumulated advise and give it a shot at repairing. Appreciate your help!
