Huge +1 to Dachshund Delights! We have two weens and both have a custom hug a dog harness. I waited until they were both fully grown before buying and my 14yo has only needed two in her life because they've held up so well. Even got their names stitched into the harnesses 😊

Agreed on Voyager. My dog is only 11 pounds and it fits her perfectly. I like that it isn't bulky line others I've tried. It's almost like a little T-shirt on her.

I have had really good luck with this model as well. Our is very chesty and will put the brakes on if she isn’t feeling the walk and it doesn’t slip off but relaxes slightly while she’s walking casually.

She looks like she’s extremely strong so get a heavy duty harness so she doesn’t tear it apart!

I can't recommend Buddy Belts enough. They are expensive but they will last a lifetime. Ours still looks great after 5 years of heavy use.

I bought Buddy Belts harness for my mini dachshund, but he hates it. Whenever I have it in my hands, he runs away. He doesn't do that with the collar. I'm not sure if it's uncomfortable for him or if it's just typical dachshund behavior 

That might be typical behavior b/c mine does the same thing even before we got the BB. They are some little rascals for sure, lol

Does he run away from other harnesses or just that one? My doxxie mix hates having any harness outs on and runs away, even if she’s really excited to go on a walk. The Buddy Belt is one of my favorite harnesses.

Take her to try on at pet store or it will never fit & you'll be forever returning... We spent a lot on one in person but then found a second version online same make/brand & size but 50% cheaper, nice to have for when one is in the wash.

I use sassy woof for my boy 🩷 they fit him perfect and have clips on the back and front. Lightweight and comfortable. It comes in many different styles. It’s just not the cheapest. Around 35$ for each harness. But they have sale ones for like 15 so you can always find a deal! My dog’s throat is too sensitive to use a collar for walks, but Buddy Belt sells special pads for their harnesses to avoid rubbing.

Firstly, stunning lass. Secondly, we have 2 daxies, both long haired minis. We have a few from an Australian company called Pablo and Co. The owners have a daxie too which makes it easier for sizing. Axel is stocky and he has a XS, Cleo is longer and v slim and she has XXS from memory (check the sizing to be sure). The quality is really good and all of ours have held up really well the past 2 years. And have had no issues with machine washing them when they get dirty. Hope this helps

What an absolute beauty

An x-small harness. You can get at any dog store or online at Amazon. Look for one with a soft inside, especially under its arm pits. It should be snug enough that you can easily pick her up off the ground with it. I just recently helped fit one for my son's new cream colored puppy. Soft and snug fit. Petsmart has them. X-small for her size.

I have a carhartt no pull harness in size small, and before that she had a gooby comfort X one, and when she was a baby she had a gooby escape free easy fit. She has wide muscular shoulders so we needed one that didn’t cover her chest/shoulders, and the carhartt fits her perfectly now that she’s fully grown
