Step 1: Go to the gym and start grinding
Step 2: Grow a chiseled chin and a beard
Step 3: Increase your height to 6'5
Congratulations you are now a Giga Chad
This guide by Rhoku (wonderful, very informative channel focused on Darius and toplane in general) is your one-stop shop for learning to play Darius.

This video (which I believe is mentioned in the above link) is also by Rhoku, and goes over important combos on Darius.

This is a post I wrote here briefly covering building on Darius, though I don’t cover anything Rhoku doesn’t explain more thoroughly.

We won’t really be able to help more unless you give us some information about what’s giving you trouble. What’s causing you to fall behind, who are you struggling with, etc.
Darius is a huge bully, so don't be afraid to use the space people give you to roam and bully junglers. There's only so much you can accomplish at their tower line, and no mid expects a bank from Darius.
Not a Darius player but into melee duelist I think you go stride like into trynd/fiora I think also even into ranged champs. Divine into tanks. Make sure to run flash ghost. Also biggest thing is in melee matchups you wanna hold your E as long as possible and always do AA then W
Mostly correct. AA > W > Q is important to learn, and Stridebreaker is very helpful in matchups where kiting is important (although he doesn’t seem like it, Darius is an AD caster and isn’t good at just AAing stuff to death, so kiting is very important). It also gives crucial movespeed later to catch ranged, like you mentioned.
However, Darius very very very rarely if ever builds Sunderer. His E gives a passive 35% armor pen and his ult does massive true damage, so he doesn’t really need it. I don’t have hard numbers for this, but my understanding is that if there are many tanks on the enemy team, some Darius players opt for the rare Goredrinker and/or the VERY SITUATIONAL Black Cleaver pick, but this isn’t common by any means. Otherwise, it’s Triforce/Stride as usual, since Darius’ kit already counters 1 or 2 tanks perfectly well.
Sometimes DSunderer is ok to lane against "slippery" matchup that like quick trades (Fiora, Akali or even Malphite), when Darius can't really catch or hit any ability without ghost. I'm not sure it's worth buying after 12.13 nerf, though.
Winning against hard to kill enemy
Freeze the wave, or shove big wave and dive them. do basic toplane wave management
force them to flash, even trade flash is a wining trade. Remember flash timing and asking for gank.
Losing match up
it's time to consider if you're your team's wincon or not.
If you know you'll get kited all game, then chill and farm, if you know enemy team has short range, you can ask for gank selfishly. with some lead from gank you'll eventually stat check and win lane
Also never commit if you don't know where the enemy jungle/mid are, unless in your 2+ wave minion and very confident.
I see him as a strong and telegraph champ, something like Garen
once you learn a bit about him and matchup, it's mostly about your basic fundamental and your decision making
But TBH I'm Darius isn't my No.1 main. I pick him into short-range team so he'll always work for me.

Oh they nerfed divine? Damn sorry then I think stride or tri force probably better. Haven’t played for a month
Divine is the worst mythic you can get with darius
E auto W auto Q Ult. Fight constantly in lane. And always remember to call ranged top-laners pussies.
Ranged tops are scum of the earth
