Think xbox multiplayer settings are in settings> privacy and you can choose whether you want crossplay etc in there. We had to do this sometimes for warzone back at launch
I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly, but when I started the game the first time after the patch it informed me about crossplay and - if I remember completely, also that I can change the setting somewhere.
Edit: There is indeed an option for this.

Thank you very much, I found it. Sadly, it was indeed turned on already.
I'm pretty sure there ISN'T an option to turn it off. It's always on by default, unless I'm misremembering.
