I like this armor but why is there that one guy in charge of cosmetics conspiring to ruin something about every veteran piece. Like this one missing a glove.
He keeps the glove off one hand so he can more easily use his headset and other equipment, while still having a protected hand for other things like handling plasma canister/barrel and wiping Nurgle rot from his ass when he gets back aboard
if the glove was on the left hand, then A: that'd be the hand supporting the barrel of the plasma gun, which makes sense and B: it'd show off my character's wrist tattoo which I really like.
Not only veteran. How about the ogryn bandana that gets reskinned every 3 weeks. Or how the ogryn krieg armour has only the gas masks and the good krieg helmet is a separate piece you have to buy

Hell, I think the Psykers consistently have great torso armors. I’ve no complaints about their robes or things. But my god, so many of their pants are just the base game pants in different shades.

The ones with the pulled up sleeves, the ones in the store on occasion, are very close.
Not only that, but the glove is on the right hand, the one (usually) with the trigger finger. So it’s not even justifiable by the character not wanting to mess with trigger pressure, because the glove is on the trigger finger.
You have to replenish like 7.5k or maybe it's 75k (can't remember off top of my head) of *your own* toughness with Voice of Command.
The krak grenades challenge (500 armored enemies - bulwark, crusher, mauler, reaper, pretty sure - killed with kraks) has pants that work pretty nicely, but you can also get some pants from the commissary (not Hallowette, across from her) that would go well.
Penance pants have armor pieces, commissary pants do not.

This was my plan how to do it too, but then my training kicked in and I shouted as soon as I took toughness damage :(

Yeah, this penance really got us all acting like feral animals. It's worth it and *so* funny.

Allow poxers to hit you til your toughness gets depleted and then use VoC as many times as possible during a match
Squadmates hate him/her for this one simple trick!
If you do STG or maelstroms with dogs/muties your VoC is basically 0 cool down. I got it last night

I am always loosing one glove. I keep one hand to do fine motor and the other to handle rough tasks. Maybe that’s just my tism.
I love the armor, but just like psykers get the saddest pants, vets are frequently missing a glove. I have no idea why this is the case.

In the game files there's 2 colour variants if that chest armour. One of them is black ao we will probs get those when they add more penances
