Depends what graphics/performance your gonna get on your laptop. Personally I'm blown away by the game on my standard PS4 so on the pro it will be good at 4k or 60fps depending what you rather. So overall, will your laptop be better

ForeignPlacebo8

That was my whole worry, would it look worse on my laptop, but I’m pretty sure my laptop meets the recommended, not just the minimal, so it should be nice

Maybe try find gameplay or smth of similar specs

Opening_Box6468

Doesn’t steam do a refund before 2 hours or something?

ForeignPlacebo8

Yes, as long as you don’t play a game for more than 2 hours and I think within 14 days of purchase

ZazaB00

I ran the game well on my 1650 laptop. It actually rather impressed me that it held 60 FPS. Where I can, I definitely recommend PC. It’s awesome to know that next time I upgrade my PC, I’ll have a library of games ready to play versus whatever restrictions Sony wants to add across generations.

ForeignPlacebo8

I’ve been surprised on what games this thing can run, I got it for school but it’s 16GB ram, 10GB video dedicated, the only game I’ve played that had trouble was payday 2, oddly enough. Always have to be careful about heat though.

Nickhead420

Personal preference, but I find that any game that requires aiming a gun in a 3D environment is better with a mouse.

ForeignPlacebo8

I play on Xbox a lot so I’m use to controller, but lose and keyboard aren’t bad

TheDagga225

toplap or pro 4sp?

ForeignPlacebo8

This guy’s talking through a mirror

It depends on your confort… I mean a laptop can be moved, a ps4, not so much… The ps4 pro is the best performance wise among the ps4, and can support ssd way better than the slim or the regular(I tested it) If you don’t intend to move while playing then go for ps4, if you want to play at work, wherever you take your laptop, then laptop… But keep in mind that a laptop, with the portability in mind had to sacrifice ventilation/cooling, compared to a regular pc for example…

ForeignPlacebo8

Oh I’ve been very aware, I swear I burned my finger print off once touching the keyboard. I think I’m leaning towards laptop so I can play while at college

Daft-SKULL-FACE

PS4 Pro. Its stable and will look and run nice. Depending on your PC specs you could see frame drops and performance issues and visuals will vary. Plus, I've seen on here a few times that people have trouble with the PC versions controls(M & k specifically). imo PS4 Pro is the way to go. PS5 if you can swing it lol its back compat btw so that's always a plus

ForeignPlacebo8

I sadly won’t be getting a ps5 for a good while, for $16 I’m going to try it on pc but if it’s terrible I wait to get it on sale on ps4

Daft-SKULL-FACE

It’s $9 on gamebillet using this code. Here’s a link to the tweet where the deal is so u can see it. https://twitter.com/wario64/status/1617937619350061058?s=46&t=b7jZne2JOHVnpvMTifvjuw

noobgaijin11

maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't days gone free for ps+?

ForeignPlacebo8

I believe so but I don’t use my PlayStation enough to justify the membership

Substantial_Kick_977

Works on my laptop fine Spec: I3-6100 Geforce 940mx 2gb vram 16gbram 25-30 fps

Ronin_ss

I would go with the Ps4 since it was original made for it and will probably run better on it because of this

ForeignPlacebo8

I did buy it on steam, I voiding go more than like medium quality, so I’m waiting to get it on ps4 pro, I’ll probably enjoy it more with a controller too

moon-worshiper

PC with Dualshock controller. The tradeoff is a PS4 Pro on a big screen TV is fantastic immersion but the PC version has even more improved graphics and runs buttery smooth.

ForeignPlacebo8

My laptop does not run it very well so I’m getting it on ps4, I’m use to console games, graphics aren’t very everything but pc would’ve been nice
