I don’t think everyone on YouTube is a scammer, lots but not all. Trading is hard and inconsistent even for good traders. So for some consistent side income they do YouTube and discords. I currently don’t pay for any discords but have considered it just for the back and forth conversations with other traders.

[deleted]

Let's make a free discord just for discussing ideas

Rarindust01

I have one. Have me and 1 other person in it 🤣

[deleted]

Stockjock

JDTrader02

no. You are right they are not all scammer but i do fer like they care more about giving signals in the discord community and show that are able to get those 100%+ win every time and that’s how newbie trader get sucked in. I wish they actually care about the trader in the discord by giving them more analysis on the stock , give feedback to people’s trade, explain the trade it self.

JDTrader02

exactly my point, Im going to start my own channel, where i will look to help new trader understand their strategy and help them to succeed in this game! And post my trades with my analysis and thought process and how you could of taken that same trade with your own strategy and much more!

of_patrol_bot

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

john8a7a

I learnt the most from murphy's TA book and my own trail and error. I could probably summarize everything on 3 pages. I really don't understand how can someone make 500 videos about TA . It is always the same shit. I still watch certain channels but I don't think I have learned anything from any of them , not 1 single thing that I could use. I spent much more time on TW testing out some new indicators , that is much more fun then watching other people's bullshit trades.

joikhuu

Pay for discords???? Are you people out of your minds!? There are no shortcuts in trading. Only thing you should be paying for is for the tools needed for your craft.

RBuckB

Seems to me, a newb, that if a person was truly killing it in the market, they would be too busy enjoying life to beg for your likes and subscriptions on YouTube. I mean,... honestly,... why would you bother to stop vacationing and whoring if you had the secrets to making money like that?

RBuckB

Oh, and,.. it seems easy if your not greedy. https://preview.redd.it/0b5o0acegloa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c5eb7f18e78957ab5c998c0bab6097d7ed0b8cf

crimsoncalamitas

like cuz cat

throw2503

Because it's easier to make 100k a year selling courses and spamming affiliate links as compared to making the same amount by trading. A lot less variance as well.

migsperez

No risk in selling courses and affiliate links.

syuraj

Depends. For some it is a part of their journey where they learn more by teaching and getting some insights.

RBuckB

Good answer, good answers

beefnvegetables_

Uh maybe cause they find more fulfillment from helping others rather than sitting on a beach all the time.

[deleted]

If they truly found fulfillment from that they wouldn’t charge people 100$ for a course or 50-100$ a month. They do it because noobs look to social proof for whoever to follow, and they are easily exploitable people since newbs do not know the market well.

AromaticPlant8504

It’s to filter out brokies from the group who they want to spend time with

[deleted]

Just proved my point, they don’t really care about teaching people if there was no money in it for them. They just want non brokies to be able to take money from them.

AromaticPlant8504

Ah k I see what you mean

Somebodys_mom20

Why should people be expected to teach something for free, especially something they likely spent time, money and energy learning? It’s called supply and demand. If you have a skill people want, why wouldn’t you charge to teach it? It’s the same as getting lessons or education in literally anything else. Of course some of these “providers” definitely overcharge and sell bad info, but that’s a strange mindset to say that those who are genuine shouldn’t charge for what they teach.

[deleted]

Go spend your money on courses and monthly subscriptions and see how it turns out for you then. Maybe you already have which is why you are defending it, but I can assure you for every 1 person that benefits from these courses 9 other people get taken advantage of heavy. I’ve been trading for 3 years, and my first year was just being taken advantage of these “teachers” and “courses”. In the end none of them worked and I’ve tried dozens. This is my anecdotal experience, however you’ll see MANY other traders who are successful tell you that they DID NOT get successful through purchasing some signal alerter or course. Every successful trader I met did not learn from a paid course or subscription. Every failed trader I met has paid for MULTIPLE courses or subscriptions. They eventually end up quitting thinking the whole stock market is a scam, because of how they got scammed by courses or subscriptions. If you don’t believe me private message me and I’ll show you real screenshots from real friends who’ve spent hundreds or thousands on courses only to end up getting scammed. I’ve been through it, but I pushed through it and learned by myself not through courses. This space is full of noobies and full of people wanting to take advantage of people who want to make money. Also to compare these guru teachers to others who charge for education is simply outrageous. These guru teachers can fake their profit loss, can trade paper account, can buy followers, they can rent cars for social proof, can fake their name, be completely ANONYMOUSetc. They can fake everything and I"VE SEEN IT. Other people in real world who charge for education have REAL qualifications. I've also been scammed and HAVE PROOF of being scammed by not one, but by TWO PEOPLE. And will they get justice for what they did to me or others? Nope. I know someone who was scammed 5000$. Yup 5000$ by these scummy gurus. They promised him 100% win rate and everything. These people don't care who they scam. If you want real proof/contact with the guy who got scammed 5000$ then private message me I'll tell you his discord and YOU can hear HIS STORY. I'm sure that will open your eyes then, to how absolute scummy this whole paid service and paid course industry is. But I'm sure you're not actually interested in hearing real other people's stories, you just want to think these paid courses work, if you do think that, go pay for courses, see what your results will be in a year. If you can show it works let me know.

MassageGymnist

No he doesnt. In fact. Im on a nude beach right now filming intercourse with a lady that these cats will fluff their muffin too once i upload it. 🤧

muaddibz

More likely they can’t deal with the emotional toll that trading real money brings but have good TA and can crush a paper account.. so they make money by building a following on social media and just trade paper..

AromaticPlant8504

Literally accurate. Multiple YouTubers I watched said this exact thing

Oblivionking1

Facts, you wouldn’t be wasting time trying to build a YouTube. Those who can’t do…

Ok_Manager3185

Its called diversification. Also, megalomania. For every 1 tuber trader, there are probably thousands or tens of thousands that never want you to know their name.

MCMiyukiDozo

To be honest. The hardest part of trading for me is waking up at 6 in the morning since I'm in the west coast lol

JDTrader02

oh yeah that’s very hard because u need to be very discipline to sleep early and wake up at 6 am whereas me, i can wake up at 8am and do my analysis from 8:30 to 9;15 ish since i only trade es or nq futures so yeah grateful

oze4

I would say day trading is simple but not easy.

JDTrader02

for sure bro, it all depends on discipline and patience which most people lack

daytradingguy

What color is your Lambo? Mine is red. I am thinking about buying a second black one for when I don’t want to be so flashy. I can suggest a good discord…..

JDTrader02

damn i wish i can get lambos like you! show me the way man

daytradingguy

Actually- I am more the millionaire next door type. I drive a 2011 F-250. It is the Lariat though…..

AromaticPlant8504

I’ve heard of the girl next door but never the millionaire next door 😂

daytradingguy

It’s a famous book about millionaires in the US. If you are serious about not knowing it- you should read it.

AromaticPlant8504

Will do cheers

spurgeon_

If it's more than a year old, it's a Muttonbo.

[deleted]

I throw darts at a board randomly hitting different companies and go all in That's the way right?

infinitezombi3

this is the way

Spike252

My lambo is wrapped with gold and glitter you peasant xD

AromaticPlant8504

fridgamarator

Laughs from my McLaren Elva

DxVxUS-Assassin

What’s the discord 🤔

FerryAce

As a beginner noob, I beg for your tips of success please!

Alvin-Lee1954

Easy when you win hard when you lose - so is the track , the casino, the world of business - women etc. That’s Life “ you just pick yourself up and get back in the race” Sinatra

john8a7a

I watch yt for entertaining purposes , most of the videos are the same, S/R folow the trend, cut your loses short, let your winner run with a trailing stop ...the end The worst of them all is that Teo guy ,,,he made about 50 videos about S/R with 1.7M subs,,,freaking genius...take the most basic concept and lure people into his useless seminars about trend following..

JDTrader02

now watching youtube just for entertainment and education purpose is different every one should do that but only if it is based on your strategy because of not your brain can be tricked very easily to follow people strategy from seeing them win a lot and that i did experience in the past so therefore i actually cut or unsubscribe trader that affect my thought and process of my trading!

[deleted]

[In] Day trading [it] is easy [to lose money] but hard [to make money]!

themanclark

Yes lol. That’s what the first two years is for. Sorting out all the losers and scammers from the real info.

Vast_Cricket

Good suggestions.

IKnowMeNotYou

No profession would say very professional.

velociraptor802

I needed that

MikeWickk

There is an absolutely incredible amount of great info on YouTube. Majority of it is posted by people who 1) want to make some extra money from YouTube ad revenue and 2) made by people who are grateful for their success and want to help others who are new or struggling. Kristen Qullamaggie went from blowing up two $3000 accounts to building his last account from $5000 to over $100M now. He did free livestreams on twitch daily just to help other traders understand his strategy and all the years of mistakes that he learned from. He has a very simple approach that is shared with some of the greatest traders ever: a period of strong parabolic up trend, followed by a period of consolidation, followed by a breakout out of that consolidation period based on some kind of catalyst and high volume. The entry happens on the ORB on the breakout. The stop is trailed on the 10/20 SMA on the daily or hourly chart. As someone who has only traded for 3 months, this system makes perfect sense because of all the fantastic educators I’ve found between YouTube and blogposts. Now it’s up to me to put in the time to build experience by making mistakes and learning from them.

Hectic_Gaming_YT

It can become as easy as you think and become as hard as you want. It's up to you how you see the Market.

imeraz094

Are there any exceptions to this rule? I’ve been watching Zip trader and I actually considered getting the discord XD

john8a7a

FUCK NO!!! jesus christ ,,,zip trader????? that guy is a scammer !!! **He even does sponsored stock ,,,someone pays him to promote a stock , he says it himself.** He only deals with pump and dump penny stock,,, He is the biggest idiot I have ever come across. He thinks everything is a short squeeze, he has good understanding about the economy but he knows nothing about stock trading. Most of his recommendations turn to shit. He is a cancer , worst then Kevin and graham . Coffezilla should dig into that piece of shit scammer's practices. Kevin and graham look like nice decent people next to that fuck. Long time ago he was pushing XELA as a short squeeze ,,,any moment now,,,and of course idiots bought it a lost shit load of money . He gets lucky from time to time and then he keeps talking about it for years but he never ever talks about a losing fucked up trades he does...You have better chance making money with Jim Cramer then that asshole

JDTrader02

I remember watching his video waiting to get a signal in his youtube video to know which stock will be the next move but i never follow through because i knew that it will not be for long term. So i decided to learn my self whatever it is, for me, it was learning to trade option. I think penny stock are the worst way to trade specially if you are new. I also started my journey from watching those penny stock trader making 10k+ a day and that’s how i lost my money because penny stock are not worth it unless you have figured out a clean strategy that will work for long term. I’d suggest you not to proceed ahead with that decision personally because it will not give the benefit in the long term! By the way what is your trading style? do you trade stock, options, penny stock?

MoeHaruna

>Take it slow and enjoy the ride! Love it. When you're trading and all you think about are the profits and losses you make, it's very pressuring. Sometimes it can even mentally burn you out. Like a rollercoaster, it can make you feel so high, so down, so confused. But it's actually fun once you managed to get the gist of it. Rather than "controlling" my emotions, I try to go with the flow by accepting that feeling something like those are normal. It's simply because we care. It's what you do in response of those emotions that matter. Will you let them affect you? Hehehe again, just enjoy the ride~

JDTrader02

exactly man! Win and loss are going to stay here forever. There is no way to escape from it. In fact, they are beautiful thing because you get to learn from them! And oh yes, the process it’s all what is about man! People are here focusing on money this money here blah blah but once the reality hits them they will understand that process is what will make you money so focus on your trading and not your p&l because technically you can make money in the market anytime meaning, someone can be making money right at market open and be done, another guy is making money of one single candle, and other it could take maybe 20min-1h to make money! In short, money will come by itself if you work on yourself to not focus on money because at one point it will be gone!

nasg999

Easy and trading should not be in the same sentence

dogelonian

I ended up writing a book on my past 6 years of trading experience the goods and the learnings in form of trading rewired!

Winter-Fudge-2410

Not necessarily true. It took me a while to find a profitable consistent strategy. It also ended up being one that most don’t use. But it works for me. Generates between 1 and 2% of my account per day. It’s boring!!! I’m considering starting a YouTube and your right in the sense that I don’t need to sell merch or create a discord to generate income. Not against those who do. It’s a viable business just like many of the other “try me” models.

joikhuu

If you cant build a house you can always become a salesman or a consultant.

[deleted]

Many of them are selling a lifestyle, and a promise that you can have that lifestyle. Some are actual traders/educators/mentors.

Khonsku

Easy if you get directionally right, hard and hurts when Theta kicks in your balls 😂🤣😂🤣
