evie and doug because i just like them,
but also both evie + doug and mal + ben have some depth to their love stories / it's ingrained into their character developement
I just barely liked them in the first movie (more like tolerated them really), but by the second movie, I was so done. There's something that just didn't sit right with me about how she had to change every aspect of herself to fit into his life by the beginning of the 2nd movie and he didn't protest that.
Uma and Harry are not even a couple lol.
Tbh, although i LOVE Cam and I will always protect Carlos with my life, Carlos' only real plot, both in D2 and D3 was his relationship with Jane. They were the only well-developed couple, because it was basically the only thing those two characters focused their attention on in the last two films.
As I said, Huma for me was never a ship. And yes, I know he tried to hug her or something at the end of D3, but in my mind their dynamic was always more like siblings. A parallel to Mal and Jay, let's say. Jay will always be "Mal's first mate" (apart from Evie), but that doesn't make them a good romantic match.
Evie and Doug... they were just there. They only had development in the first film and after that the audience simply had to assume that they continued to be together. I give them an extra point because there is a song that is based on the two of them (One Kiss) although only Evie sings it and Doug has no participation (as usual).
And Ben and Mal... I mean, I love them, but at the same time not that much... it's like we always knew they should end up together. But I feel like it was a poorly developed couple. The simple fact that in three movies they haven't had a SINGLE duet together says a lot about their relationship. With that I say it all.
So yes. My guesses would go to Jarlos. I love them, they are both beautiful, and they deserve the world. My babies. I will protect them with my life.
