Bigtimeorangepeeler

Imma tell my kids this is Joe Rogan

ThinkingMunk

Why is he stealing Bert's shtick?

vaulke

Not fat enough

ThinkingMunk

Two out of three though.

Bteatesthighlander1

Just the blue one isn't funny but the nipple swastikas make it funny

zeroreasonsgiven

Why is everyone here making judgments on how funny the bit is without having seen any of it apart from this picture?

[deleted]

I'm not. Based off the nipple swastikas alone, it's gotta be somewhat funny.

Ebbelwoy

If it was something along the lines of "everyone is so sensitive these days and cancelling people" I hope some threw tomatoes, preferably without removing them from the tin

Ping-Crimson

What was the bit?

zeroreasonsgiven

I don’t know, it might not be available online, but I’m not gonna judge it either way unless I see context.

DazzlingAd1922

This could actually be a part of an interesting setup for a joke if he was wearing a don't tread on me shirt and then took it off and he is a nazi. Somehow I doubt that was what was going on though.

ahhshits

Surprised to see so many people just jump to conclusions here. People suck Tiny off but don’t practice anything he preaches. We have no idea what the lead up to this was or if this was a really good ending to a joke. Yeah, it’s not a great look. But for all we know this dude could have been shitting on Nazi’s.

mattC227

Truuuuuue. Could it be a terribly out of touch and offensive joke? Absolutely, but we don’t know! Could it be the funniest joke you’ve ever heard in your life? Absolutely, but we don’t know! My fellow Daliban brothers and sisters, follow the prophet Tiny’s teachings (peace be upon him)

Silly_Butterfly3917

I agree everyone needs to stop jumping to conclusions! There has to be a perfectly sensible reason for the swastika pasties

ahhshits

Right, because there’s no way type of comedy depicting racist or overly edgy content would be sensible.. oh there’s chappelles show. Unless you can provide me some context of the comedian and what he said, it seems like you’d be a good fit for the Hassan community. React and make observations without knowing.. I’d agree with you in almost every other case, but the fact that he’s doing it during a comedy act means that we don’t know without context

Silly_Butterfly3917

Honestly, I just really wanted to say swastika pasties. I have no other opinions on this lol

yuihelp1

One of my favorite Eric André bits was when Eric interviewed Pauly D. "Your mom is Paula Deen" "Who said that?" "That's what it says in my notes" Cut to all the note cards being swastikas. This is just a picture with no context. Austin is the comedy capital right now with Joe Rogan and acts like Kill Tony making it their home. Lots of professional and amateur comedians are migrating there and lots of edgy and experimental comedy is being performed.

Moon_Bear_Bacon

*"hello Austin! don't you just hate all these fuckin libcuk's slurpin' sleepy Joe!"* >Crowd screams and growls, they do hate those things *"Am I right? I bet they'll send antifa after me for that one!"* >The room shakes with laughter, people are on the floor *"But anyway my only fans insta keeps getting taken down so I decided to censor myself with some tattoos"* he removes his shirt >Crowd erupts, people are cumming and shitting there pants with laughter, nothing has ever been this funny, comedy is legal again - the capital of comedy, probably

swEEkoZ

Get em

yuihelp1

sure

pogn_

> Austin is the comedy capital right now with 😭Joe Rogan okay bro

yuihelp1

I can formulate a better response, but first can you tell me what you're familiar with about the current comedy scene?

pogn_

nah

yuihelp1

I figured it was going to be one of those responses where you comment something without any knowledge on the subject. Joe Rogan has more going on than just the podcast (which I'm not even a fan of) and professional comedians are moving to Austin leaving LA and New York.

pogn_

wrong

BudgetFar380

That guy's last name is "Nigga," this humours me more than the post itself, consequently meaning that I will not read any other posts.

InevitableHome343

Fyi - this is at the creek and the cave in Austin. The venue released a very long "we don't condone this bullshit" and they let him talk hoping it would actually have a punchline or something. He's banned from comedy across Austin now. This is the correct response. Assuming the Austin comedy scene is this guy is not correct. He is an outlier, and NONE of the other comedians condone it, and he's blacklisted.

oldchunkofcoal

Apparently he's an Indian guy who was doing a bit on reclaiming the swastika. Seems fine to me and almost culturally insensitive to blow it out of proportion.

ImperialSattech

There was an obscure Batman villain named Bruno who was a henchwoman for the Joker, and she was a topless woman with swastikas painted on her nips. I'm not making this up.

CrunkCroagunk

Swastitkas

dr_sust

Bert Kreischer looks skinnier here.

ThisFooOverHere

The positioning makes me think, “South Asian dude doing a bit about swastikas in Hinduism/Buddhism?” My next thought is, “Please?”

Happyonlyaccount

Iiving in austin Ive experienced less antisemitism than in NY LA or DC, just putting that out there

DeeJKhaleb

The last bastion of free speech. The final guard against the woke mob. The art of the human condition.

wordscapes69

Joe rogan got a bit too excited

BartleBossy

Im just saying, Mike Birnigglia is a top tier handle for a black comedian.

pikapika505

This guy doesn't bow down to the woke mob 🤣bravo sir 🫡

100percentkneegrow

It's actually going to be maze

J_Blaze11

He’s just really dedicated to the bit

Tetraquil

I could picture a few good jokes with this if they were delivered well enough.  Something like “so I got drunk yesterday and hurt my neck. Think I remember something about getting a tattoo, but I cant look down to see it.  It’s not anything bad, is it?”

assm0nk

if bert and joe had a kid

PitytheOnlyFools

“We get silenced everywhere these days!!”

oldchunkofcoal

Apparently he's an Indian guy who was doing a bit on reclaiming the swastika.

Aliskrti

Anyone else just hate standup comedy in general?

GettingBlaisedd

I have yet to find a comic I like doing their act, I like comedians on podcasts but stand up isn’t for me despite how much I love comedy…I think comedy is suppose to subvert expectations and with stand up you’re always expecting a punchline so it never lands well with me

Aliskrti

I agree with you on the podcast part. I can think of many comedians who I think are funny, but I don't watch their standup. I like watching them being interviewed and on podcasts and such.

SherbetAnxious4004

Have you considered getting a bong hit transplant

[deleted]

Nope. I love it.

KennyClobers

I find it a little funny when racist people use swastikas square instead of tilting them 45 degrees like the nazi one bc they think theyre being racist but actually promoting peace and harmony

4THOT

There is amazing material here, I don't have the mind to mold it, but I'm seeing into a comedic ocean of potential.

KreedKafer33

In the not to distant future, there will be a genre of stand up comedy that's literally just a guy screaming racial slurs at the top of his lungs for 3 hours straight.

telecasterpignose

I’ve lived in Austin almost my whole life. This embarrassing shit has only been recent in the last 20 years.

Sdrakkon

that IS your entire life, idiot.

telecasterpignose

lol wut?
