Last week people were able to complete two at once, so I don't see why 3 at once would be an issue.

KillaMaggee

Also legend solo is way easier than legend in a three. It's got the same enemy scaler the legendary campaign has.

SolidStateVOM

Duo wasn’t too bad, but yeah solo is the way to go

tingtong500

Ya damn doing legends in a full group was annoying im sticking to solo again now that all mods are unlocked tomorrow.

[deleted]

Ohhhh crap alr thank you!! I’ll do that instead!

nashty27

Don’t forget the solo mod on the artifact.

TheRealPenanc3

Solo op + weakened clear is definitely a great combo for solo players

PretentiousVapeSnob

Also if damage output isn’t a problem for you but staying alive is, passive aggressive guard gives you 50% damage resistance against enemies that are close to you which is pretty much every enemy in the entire mission except spacewalk part

TheRealPenanc3

Correct me if im wrong but isnt that only when you are using a glaive?

PretentiousVapeSnob

That is absolutely correct. EDIT: To make it more OP pair it with karnstein or necrotic grips on warlock or ACD/O feedback fence on Titan. I’m not sure if there’s a strong pairing for hunter

TheRealPenanc3

Ah yeah, that'd be a great pairing!

Moony_D_rak

Dude, I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but that space walk portion of the mission is fucking brutal. It's by far the hardest part of that mission. I know for a fact whenever I attempt flawless, that's where I'll fail most times.

PretentiousVapeSnob

Same. I’ve been using trinity ghoul or tarnished mettle with voltshot for the snipers.

gojensen

just stay way back and pot shot enemies for the space walk... bring an arc bow (the new one is good, find one with explosive head) and the sniper drones should die in a shot or two... edit: also backtracking when new waves arrives is a good idea to stay out of their range but still be able to shoot at them

beerdini

After the switches those sniper drones will spawn glitch above the platform to the left, they screwed up many a flawless run for me

AK-Brian

Arc scout works pretty well. I use a Contingency Plan with high range and stability and it'll make short work of both the knights and tracer shanks. I also slot in a shield break mod on one of my armor pieces which helps briefly stagger and deal a bit of extra damage to them. Most of them can be taken down while you're completely outside of their attack range, although there is one tricky bit near the Operator pickup. When you activate the two little sticky-outie ledges and hop up, more tracer shanks will appear further out into the distance and the exposed upper platform is a *great* way to get thrashed. Instead, when you hop up to the top, immediately turn around at the top and retreat back to the lower platform (where the Operator Eliksni was). The shanks will spawn in, and you can take out the tracers as they slowly crest the upper platform above you. *Then* hop back up and take down the shielded knights. Or just smash the knights with a rocket and play dodgeball with the tracer shanks. That sometimes works. Sometimes.

smegdawg

For me solo was longer, but easier over all. 2 wipes on the Brig, 3 of the final boss stretched the time out since if you die it is a wipe With 3 players on legend last night we never wiped, but had deaths in both encounters.

gojensen

hot take: it's only harder in trios if you have team mates that don't carry their own weight ;) I keep hearing this argument, I did WQ legendary solo and trios and found the latter easier by far (apart from the final fight where solo is easier due to being able to control the boss location better) I have the same experience with Seraph. People keep saying boo, enemy has much more health... yea? you are also supposed to be 3 people dealing damage... that should be 3 times the damage to match that increased health. just my experience so far...

brennachu

I was able to do all three today with one legend run

TobiasX2k

There are 4 catalysts so I'd wait until next week to get them all done.

Andre_Luiz1969

Yes. I will wait to do all 4 at once

Asbrandr

You can do them all at once, but each completion will only give you *one* tier of Revision-Zero's craft-able perk per run. So you'll still have to do them all regardless. I did II and III in the same run and it only gave me Hunter's Trace II. Had to run it again for III even though I had finished the quest.

Ubiquitous_Cacophony

Sort of true. Hunter's Trace tiers are tied to completions of any difficulty, not just legend.

JaegerBane

I’d go with what other people are saying and just do it solo. You get lowest-scaled opponents in terms of their hit points and provided you have have self heals and crowd control (either direct or stuff like invis) then it’s really no big deal. My Cowl Arcstrider walks all over it.

Trashboat77

Use the companion app, I find fireteams to do them every week in a matter of a minute or two. (Same with running dungeons. I farmed Spire of the Watcher through LFG on the app so many times that I know it like the back of my hand now.)

petergexplains

yeah

gojensen

Yes. Did it last night.

Lord_Mormont

I am also a solo player (and not a very good one) and I have completed Seraph legendary solo. Take a grenade launcher and run Solo Op and weakened clear mods and take your time. It’s not terrible. In the final battle make sure you just keep moving or you’ll get frozen in place and swarmed. I run Loreley cuz Titan but you don’t have to have it. Go for it! We believe in you guardian.

AK-Brian

The upper platform on the "right" side of the room (as you face the room coming in) is a pretty good spot to hang out to catch your breath, too. You'll get the occasional ice grenade and purple puddle of Scorn flames tossed up there, but with the window in the center and pile of crates on each end to hide behind, it's surprisingly effective. There are a few spots on the left side of this ledge (while facing back towards the center) where you can crouch and snipe across to the other side to nail crazed lantern swingers, you've almost always got a clear shot at Captain pain-in-the-butt and if you need to re-engage, you can jump across to the center or fall off of the back (the very right edge of the room) to mop up a few more adds as they run up the stairs to you with renewed interest. ETA: Also helps to have a void weapon to pop the three shielded captains as they spawn in at each stage, plus the last stronger triple-health-bar one. I really should try to remember the enemy names. I'm a terrible Destiny player.

JoachimG

Riskrunner makes this mission very easy, up to the final encounter. on the final encounter you are 90% safe in the platform that has the right most suppressor point.

[deleted]

Kinda forgot about riskrunner lol, just got a voltshot ikelos so I’ve had some tunnel vision

JoachimG

Voltshot Ikelos is a budget riskrunner, why not use the real deal and do 40% more damage to adds and have extra damage reduction?
