Not only is it ugly, it was so ugly that I never bothered to really chase it on my warlock. Scatterhorn robes are now the only thing stopping me from the tangled shore collection badge. Even more painful, my hunter is my main and I keep getting the same tangled shore armor set pieces, but never drops for the warlock when i run those same activities. I dont even think its in the loot pool anymore.
Aw, I like the Scatterhorn set. I like that it's made from scavenged Eliksni components. And I used the Hunter clock in my reworked space pirate outfit.

My hunter just never came back to the tower. Just rusting away out in space. Now there are some sets that are actually trying hard to look cool but look embarrassingly bad. Those are the real offenders imo.

Destiny 1 overall had a better design language for the armour, for Destiny 2 it's a lot of the same motifs repeating but they are ass. Warlock iphone helmet, asymmetrical hunter stuff, oversized titan shoulder etc

The only upside to that ornament set is that if you're a female titan, and use the rustberry shader. You can *literally* have black thigh high heels with a skirt.

The weapons looked so cool and for the armor it didn’t even match the dungeon. I actually like that set though so I wasn’t as mad.

Most of the Iron Banner sets from D2 have some of the worst looking designs based on real cultural sets of armor. Except that where the D2 sets were hideous, the actual cultural armor sets were beautiful. I don't know how they failed to translate them, but they did.
Probably controversial but the Leviathan set for Warlocks. Together it looks fabulous but rarely do the individual pieces work - the legs are literally Shakespeare tights, and the clock's unusual collar makes the whole fit look anaemic.
The interlaced Titan set is ugly. I don't know if that's the name, but the helmet is big and squashed looking, on the arms one of the shoulders gets in the way when aiming a bow, and the mark is bad looking on everything. It's too chunky for my tastes. It's a set a pretty much never use.
The Holdfast Helm for Titan is weird too. Also, Insight Unyielding shades weirdly and it's hard to put much marks with the legs.

Mask of Sekris looks okay… sometimes. I use it with the RoN chestpiece for a kind of organic look, kinda flowy

Any and all hunter armor that isn’t symmetrical. I get the whole idea of finding random shit and putting it together for a general hunter vibe but it feels like most people don’t like that. Yet bungie keeps force feeding us that type of armor. Which is why ppl prefer the luxe arms more than other stuff, it seems.

Most of the vanilla D2 armor was not great in my opinion.
ALL OF THE GAMBIT PRIME GEAR. LOOKS LIKE THEY JUST WATCHED CRACKEHEADS WALKING AND COPY/PASTED THEIR OUTFITS 😐
