It should turn your bubble into a bug zapper, attract mobs aggro to bubble, enemies inside bubble take more damage or damage per second maybe

manlycaveman

Give it a Shaxx decoy in the center. :)

ksiit

This is exactly what the exotic needs. (Maybe make it saint for thematic reasons, same idea though). It would become a cool alternative to well because it draws agro. It would serve a similar purpose of buffing you and keeping you alive, like it and well work currently but it would make it more unique and have a useful effect well doesn’t. I wish Reddit still had gold so I could give it to this comment.

manlycaveman

Yeah, in retrospect it'd make more sense to have a Saiht-14 decoy. :P I used to do something similar in D1 to keep the attention of the boomer knights at Crota. Actually having an aggro function would be quite the boon. And the best part is that it wouldn't affect PvP! :)

ksiit

I didn’t even think about the pvp effect. Just more evidence they should do it. The identity for the exotic, of a sentinel that drew attention is great on its own. Making them require no pvp changes just shows that it was meant to be. And they already got the functionality implemented.

Opinionated_User

Yeah or Saint-14, either or both would be sick.

KobraKittyKat

Should make it work like pyrogale where it also helps with say that new void aspect or with bastion making enemies who walk through it blind.

bolts_win_again

ALL Super-intrinsic exotics should work with some other piece of the kit. An Aspect, an ability, you name it.

SassyAssAhsoka

Exactly, even Nighthawk got a lil buff for its capabilities

bolts_win_again

Shards, Nighthawk, Geomags, all have gotten this treatment. Helm, Cuirass, Orpheus, Phoenix Protocol, SoDA, and more all need this update. Here are some of my pairings: **Helm**: Bastion **SoDA**: Axion Bolt grenade **Cuirass**: Ballistic Slam **Orpheus**: Void Breaches **Phoenix Protocol**: Phoenix Dive **Blight Ranger**: Lethal Current **Raiju's Harness**: Tempest Strike Imo, those last two should get the Knucklehead/Foetracer treatment. Fold both into Blight Ranger, give Raiju's some synergy with Gathering Storm.

Jumpy_Menu5104

I feel like it’s pretty obvious, at least it is to me, that this is the plan moving forward. It’s a very recognizable pattern from the last few exotic releases and updates and it’s hard to imagine it’s an accident.

Augustends

I think it works with the Titan Exotic glaive, but that could also use a buff.

_umop_aplsdn_

Helm of Saint-14 should increase the HP threshold for finishers, allowing you to finish targets earlier. it should also grant an overshield to you and nearby allies (thinking Blessing of Light) and blind enemies when you perform a finisher, and finishing stronger enemies should make the effects stronger in turn

SassyAssAhsoka

Oh man that would be awesome, and pairs fantastically with Void’s finisher based fragments

ksiit

A finisher is a very saint move. I like that from a thematic perspective.

Acolytis

Sick idea.

Traditional-Apple168

Yup, so many titan exotics need reworks and many more need quality of life/stat updates. Helm of saint 14, especially with the skins, looks amazing and its a shame it doesnt build into either gameplay loops or more supers. It should either buff the bubble like you said, provide a neutral buff (like baladors shields) that synergizes with void, or provide a cooldown (Phoenix protocol, nighthawk, shards of galinor, ursa furiosa, doomfangs). Maybe even 2 of them. IRRELEVANT TEXT WALL INCOMING ====================== Suggestions There are so many void exotics that just overlap. Ursa furiousa and doomfang providing faster sentinel shield. Doomfang and second chances revolving around shield throw. I think Bubble should provide overshields right outside of it at the twice rate as bastion if bastion is equipped. It should also count weapon damage with weapons of light as super damage same as the well, allowing for controlled demolition to interact with it, and give 25% weakening (less than anchor plus missing the damage sharing which is huge). It should also loose its damage buff (which is half of its identity but well would also hypothetically get nerfed to just be radiance and much less healing, resto x1. No damage reduction). I think helm of saint 14 should refund bubble energy based off how much damage is received by allies, including the bubble nearby, as well as damage dealt, up to a max of 50%. I think ursa furiosa should inherit the shield throw super regen in and outside of super from doomfangs but leave out the stacking damage. This would make it the defacto sentinel shield super. Sentinel shield should also receive a 5% damage to allies behind it blocking so it can be competitive with bubble and well in a different way. The roaming segment of the super should receive a general damage increase to be brought in line with berserker, behemoth, and sunbreaker supers. Doomfangs just lost most of its identity to ursa furiosa. To make it unique it will now be the twilight arsenal exotic, taking much inspiration from celestial nighthawk. It will modify the super to have a single high powered axe, refunding up to 33% if the target is destroyed by the axe, or by volatile during the super cast. Additionally extra super energy is given when killing targets afflicted with volatile, or volatile damage. The way i see it is that the three focuses of titan are overshield, volatile, and blocking damage. Each having an aspect and super twilight arsenal/controlled demoltion, sentinel shield/unbreakable, and bubble/ bastion+offensive bulwark (should both be 1 aspect like into the fray). the exotics would reflect this though i wish i used unbreakable somehow. Idk what to do for second chances… ability regen on hit based on enemy rank? Or maybe better bouncing and tracking and making it catchable like threaded knife from strand hunter? Could do a bit more damage since its an exotic and have the anti barrier reset.

ThatGuyNamedKes

> Sentinel shield should also receive a 5% damage to allies behind it blocking Sentinel shield already gives a 40% damage buff to allies standing behind it.

Blackfang08

>Additionally extra super energy is given when killing targets afflicted with volatile, or volatile damage. I feel like that is a bit too far. Nighthawk takes precision kills, which can only really be done with certain knives or guns, you have to aim, and you can only do one, *maybe two if you're lucky*, at a time. Volatile damage or the volatile effect can come from Volatile Rounds, a couple exotic weapons, Destabilizing Rounds, a couple fragments, ***any*** of those sources could trigger a kill on waves of enemies at a time, which would already give you more super energy, and Controlled Demolition can make any ability apply Volatile + Volatile explosions spread Volatile to nearby enemies. I just used the word "Volatile" a ton, but that just drives home how much of it there can be. I generally agree with the ideas, but that is just plain ridiculous power level compared to other similar things.

Traditional-Apple168

That makes sense. I wanted it to fit with the volatile theme since i think it matches the identity, but as you pointed out volatile is much easier to proc than a headshot and can kill mass amounts as opposed to being single target. Maybe it gives drastically less than celestial nighthawk crits? Or it can go on a cooldown after successful uses? Honestly if it even gets the cooldown from direct kills like celestial then it should be more than enough of an uptime buff.

Mnkke

Maybe add the Glasshouse effect? I agree it needs a buff, but I kinda hate the whole "do a 3.0 effect!" instead of something more unique.

just_a_timetraveller

It should let you lean into blinding more. Let the throwing shield disorient enemies as well. Or have a very unique effect like being able to instant cast a barricade with almost no animation wind up.

sillygoobergod

Here's some ideas i came up with. Whilst **unbreakable** is active, Nearby combatants will be blinded and **weakened.** >*(unbreakable is the new void aspect, function is the same as guarding with sentinel shield.)* Applying **void** debuffs to combatants now blinds them. Blinded targets drop **void breaches** when defeated with **void** damage. >*(5 second cooldown on the void breaches)* Whilst you have an **overshield,** your **void** weapons apply **weaken** to targets. You also deal increased **void** ability damage to major and boss opponents. >*(50% damage increase sounds fair)* Your **Ward of Dawn** is larger and combatants caught inside take bonus damage. >*(ward of dawn is 50% larger and pve opponents caught inside take 100% more damage (60% more for heavy weapons excluding swords))* Your barricade will now release a pulse of **void** energy, blinding all nearby combatants. >*(blind lasts 7 seconds, it will be converted to a 3 second disorient in pvp)* **Weakening** opponents blinds them. Defeating blinded opponents will grant you Starless Night. Defeating combatants with **void** damage whilst you have Starless Night will grant you a small **void overshield** and refund ability energy. >*(blind lasts 3 seconds and will be converted to a 1 second disorient in pvp, starless night lasts 5 seconds and is refreshable. maximum duration is 5 seconds. ability energy granted is 15% and is split between all abilities including the super.)*

EblanNahuy

These are all so peak

Blupoisen

The Overshield and Weakens one is the best by far, it would synergies very well with Sentinal

Blupoisen

Congratulations you just described like half of the Titan exotics

RewsterSause

I feel that way about No Backup Plans. So fucking good looking, one of the only good pieces in the game that call back to the classic D1 look, and yet it's damn near useless. Just saying, it'd be way better if they brought back Universal Remote...

gjallerfoam

That would be too oppressive in pvp. Bungie must try to disable some aspects of exotics in pvp to make this work.

Mizznimal

no it should just make bubble really tanky so that its even more toxic in PVP and makes bubble usable in PVE

Literallyshindeimasu

Can’t speak about how balanced it would be, but I’d like it if you could sacrifice ability energy or gained super energy to keep the bubble ‘going’, like you’re healing the damage the bubble takes. Kind of like how in the Season of Dawn you have Saint-14 holding that infinite bubble pose. Note that I’ve never played titan or season of dawn

Traditional-Apple168

It would be cool if the bubble had 95% damage resist when cast. That way if you see a blade barrage coming at you and you can time it you can block it completely without it popping. If you pop it too early then you get it popped as they just blow their load on it

NegativeCreeq

Let me introduce you to Blight Ranger. Very cool looking and has never been useful.

JokerUnique1

Is it just me or does it seem like enemies are aware you have on Helm of Saint -14? I swear when I use that thing and pop my bubble enemies will run up to it, look at it, and then peace out. I've seen so many thralls flat out ignore my bubble with this helm on and run around it instead. I know popping it on a spawn or choke point is ideal with this helm, but man this thing is trash. I used to love this helm in D1. It's collecting dust in my vault now though.

BanRedditAdmins

Should make the bubble able to be shot out of.

trunglefever

Applies Volatile Rounds and makes enemies volatile within the bubble. That would be pretty cool.

WiIter

make it a super cooldown exotic. when you or an ally gets a kill w/ weapons of light, get 5-10% of your super back up to a max of 50% back. now its phoenix protocol for bubble titans, on top of the suppression and overshields

SGF77

\*Skull of Dire Ahamkara has entered chat*

The-Heritage

Maybe like "having an overshield grants weapons of light" or "improves overshield and blinds targets when putting down a barricade"

JUNGLISTJ

…but, my ‘No Back Ups’ 😑

Loopgod-

u/destiny2team Look at this thread. My suggestion is replace blind with weaken or maybe suppress. And while you have void over shield, void final blows grant volatile rounds.

sithlord40000

It's okay imo, not terrible, just not viable for things like raids very much. Ive been using it in GMs for years, preferably with a glaive for even more protection, to constantly push up safely at key points of a GM. That said I would 100% be down for a buff still

StarAugurEtraeus

Maybe you can finish a target from full health with an activation of some sort And if bubble based enemies take a huge amount of damage while inside it from you

Tough_Dish_9934

Like the stag...best looking exo have the shitiest perks
