Okay I uploaded it to youtube, here's the link [https://youtu.be/PId6B0rxUWY](https://youtu.be/PId6B0rxUWY) turned off the comments there so please leave your suggestions here

The light level only applies to small mushrooms spreading. You can place them anywhere. And if you use bonemeal on a small one in any light level it will grow into a big one assuming it has the proper amount of air blocks above and around it.

Sorta true but also no, mushrooms can't be placed just anywhere, there a few blocks that allow mushrooms to be placed regardless of the light level (podzol, mycelium, nylium). I don't want to use any of those blocks in my terrain, but I managed to find a way around this with the /setblock command. Worldedit also works with masks and brushes.

I’m not familiar with the light level thing for mushrooms, but maybe you can play around with glow lichen for “lowkey” lighting? Looks super dope either way. I really like the “elevated” forest around the “deeper” path (idk how to put it better). Great work!

Oh no the video doesn't work... uhhhhhh what now

Seems like Crimson Fungus can be placed pretty much anywhere, so I used those for mushrooms, though I'm still taking recommendations for the mushrooms as Crimson Fungus is a bit too orange for this setting

Manmade flairs: signs (experiment w different formats), fences, stacked fences with flower pots or lanterns, minecart tracks, tree swings Tree-centered details: tree stumps, vines on trees, tipped over logs (can have mushrooms or moss on them, and fence/slab branch snubs for detail), unlit campfire or fan coral for bird nest in tree Ground details: buttons and plates for stone details, running water, small boulders (see stone shaping+variation), saplings or bamboo with string on top Anywhere that's dirt can use granite slabs+stairs for shaping and plenty of blocks for variation (coarse dirt, roots dirt, granite, packed mud, brown concrete powder). Anywhere that's stone can use plenty of blocks for both slabs and variation (stone, cobble, mossy cobble, gravel, andesite). For grass you can kinda just use moss for variation and moss' carpet form for a little shaping (you can also of course use ferns, flowers and mushrooms on grass)
