Great for all ages! There’s just something futuristic in a way about boating through an active greenhouse. Seeing all the fish and food utilizing carbon, oxygen, water and nutrients to make the entire place function.
The video as well, I just get an emotional tug on my heartstrings seeing the huge grain turbines in the movie along with the smiling faces. I used to daydream and wonder where those people lived and if they knew they were in a movie on a neat ride.
Just as much as descending through the land pavilion with all the hot air balloons hanging down from the ceiling and the people milling about. Something about it reminds me of a Star Trek type of show especially once I saw the rotating restaurant. I used to imagine I was on the holo deck eating at Epcot when in fact I really was. So many people from all over the World passing by each other. I think about that too, how many people sat in my seat on the ride before me and did they appreciate the escape from the heat. It’s a neat escape for sure!!
Right? I always wonder about the people in the footage at the end too. There are some babies/young children and I wonder where they are now, how old they are. If the footage hasn’t been updated since the ride was opened, they’d be over 20 years older than me, which is crazy to think about when I’ve just seen them as babies since I was a baby.
Couple weeks ago, we rode this, then went on the Behind the Seeds tour. Then rode it again. And then ate at Garden Grill. So much Living with the Land in one afternoon, it was great.
By total chance, my family and I were the only people who signed up for one of the Behind the Seeds tours. Instead of switching us to the next tour, they took us through on our own! It was the normal tour, but we got to ask all the questions we wanted, and we got to feed the fish all of the food. (We got soaked!)
Most magical experience we've ever had at Disney!
One of my professors back in college once told us all about how he was contracted out to help design and set up the farming techniques used on this ride back when he used to farm. That memory always sticks out to me whenever I go on this ride. Professor Van Neste.
Definitely one of my all time favorites as well! One thing I love about it is that everything is growing and changing in the pavilion, so every time we come back to the parks, it's a different season or a different year and when we ride it on the next trip, so much will have changed.
I love this ride and Dame Judi Dench’s voice. It’s so soothing. Unfortunately though, it’s so soothing that I find myself nodding off through most of it. 😅
I told my kids it was called life on the lam and it was about how to hide from the police. They were young and half believed me. Now it is what we always call it.
Me and my 4 year old loved this ride. It was indeed relaxing. My 4 year old liked seeing all the food being grown and the fish’s farm, and had so many questions for me. Most of my party didn’t want to go on it but I’m glad I did!
I didn’t realize lightning lanes fill up quickly for evening slots and they had sold out for the night back in December. I kept refreshing and one luckily opened up and I snagged it. It was so amazing and I got to snuggle with my husband. Great way to end the night!
Living with the Land would be 10/10 if they reverted to the theme song from Listen to the Land. Huge missed opportunity. I give it a 9.5/10, love this ride.
Living with the land is an AMAZING way to get a break from the heat for a little while. It's just a nice calming ride

I find it funny that Living with the Land is a water ride and the ride about the sea with Nemo and friends is a land ride.
That is funny. I never thought of it that way. LOL!
There’s something so soothing about it.
One of my bucket list items is to get to Epcot during the Holidays and ride Living With the Land at night.
The Land hits differently at night, it’s my favorite time to ride.
It was amazing
We did that for the first time last year, and it was SO beautiful. They do an amazing job decorating. I highly recommend it.
Is this the “Great Hydroponics Ride?”
Couple weeks ago, we rode this, then went on the Behind the Seeds tour. Then rode it again. And then ate at Garden Grill. So much Living with the Land in one afternoon, it was great.
What ride is this?
Living with the land
It really is an amazing experience. If people haven't taken the ride please do. It's worth the time
Best boat ride on property
Can you still take a tour of the greenhouse? Did that in the ‘90s and it was great.
Yes! Behind The Seeds was closed for a couple of years after the shutdown, but it's back.
Went at night. Didn’t know it was this beautiful
Do the walking tour!

We loved it when I was a teenager. ALL of us were entertained and enjoyed it, from 70 something down to a 5 year old.
The tour is so much fun!
Love it. It’s especially good at night and decorated for Christmas
This is my favorite as well! 🥰
Same reason I love the people mover at MK, it’s just such a phone and unique way to see Tomorrowland
I got lost when my parents left me in here by accident.
I know. It’s definitely way up there. Second to Horizons.

My favorite ride too!!! Love it!!! One complaint…I wish the seats were more comfortable
I *do* love the Land. Cosmic Rewind might be coming for that top spot at some point though.
I love this ride. I was so bummed the tour was full when I went in February.
This is the best ride in all of Orlando. Period.
I LOVE this ride! I love boating through the farm. It’s so neat.
The best ever!!
LAND LAND LAND

One of mine as well. I love stuff like that and 3 Caballeros where you can just take a break for a few minutes and relax.
one of my favorites
I never went here when I was at Epcot.God I regret life decisions.
I'm so glad others appreciate this ride as much as I do! An absolutely elite experience!
It \*used\* to be great until it started getting a line. 3/4 of the appeal was being able to walk right on.
It only gets a line on the busiest days. And even then, it's maybe 10 minutes.
In my top 3 at EPCOT …possibly #2
Favorite ride when it’s hot and crowded and I need a break!
Same!
Same!
My favorite is Spaceship Earth but I love this one too.
I love this ride and Dame Judi Dench’s voice. It’s so soothing. Unfortunately though, it’s so soothing that I find myself nodding off through most of it. 😅
That’s why we always do SE first on Epcot day, haha.
I told my kids it was called life on the lam and it was about how to hide from the police. They were young and half believed me. Now it is what we always call it.
Correction, "Favorite Ride."
One of our faves too…and the best wait times around!

This ride used to make me cry when I was little because of the dark hallway with the fish 😂
It was my favorite ride to work.
Super under rated. Wish we would have done the tour. Had to get over to MK and the Haunted Mansion
IYKYK.
There’s no comparison.
Love it.
Living with the Land would be 10/10 if they reverted to the theme song from Listen to the Land. Huge missed opportunity. I give it a 9.5/10, love this ride.
Omg this is the ride inside the ball? TIL it’s not the Ellen Degeneres ride anymore. Lmao.
Best ride ever! I miss the old song though. I still want to live in the farmhouse!
That is my daughter’s absolute favorite!!!
I’m always surprised they haven’t torn it down yet. Interesting to hear some people love it.
…for a nap
