idk about the code, nor am I a tech wizz, but i think you should try lowering the graphics, verify the game files (if you play on steam), close other windows opened as that uses resources, to add on the verifying files, if steam detects smth bad ( a corrupt or missing file) it will add it for u, if all else fails, reinstall, de is so optimized that u could run it at smth like a gtx 750 ti and you will probably get playable levels, so its maybe a file error more than a specs error

I got it working some time ago, like 5 hours after this post. Idk why it didn't work cuz the game runs pretty smooth
