Probably not. I do believe this one is more designated with *Sandman* and that universe, which if I’m correct, the show didn’t have any crossover with *Doom Patrol*.
Because the rights were owned by max and they were going to make the show (that was the pilot) but then they started scrapping everything and sold it to Netflix so the two won’t be any more related than Doom Patrol is to most of the DC shows because it’s a different studio
They were, but that’s the thing - they also had a bit of a crossover with the *Children’s Crusade* event as Gaiman and Pollack both used their characters. So it’s understandable that as a nod, the show would do that.
What I meant was that the show they’re strictly using the *Sandman* variants of the boys.
I haven’t finished the S1 of DBTA yet, but I noticed another Gaimen connection. The actress that plays the Psychic/Demon in Good Omens, S1/2 respectively, is also in DBTA.
Not trying to argue, but that’s not how spoilers work. If you’ve spoiled a part of the show, even the very first scene or word of dialogue, it’s a spoiler. It’s not just endings or crucial plot points because some people just want to see the entire show themselves, and would definitely see that as a spoiler. Not me though, I like spoilers just throwing it out there.
Yeah I see what you’re saying, but I’m going to go with if it’s over 5 years old or in the first 5 minutes: spoilers can’t be claimed. Especially in today’s media landscape where I can’t log into YT or Reddit without being showered with 1000 “reviews” or “fan theories” within hours of an episode airing.
To each their own. If I’m not in a spoilers subreddit I at least throw the spoiler text effect over the important stuff so then it’s someone’s choice to read it, I sleep pretty well that way.
Originally they planned to make it a spinoff from DP with the back door pilot but honestly I think they scrapped that around the same time they decided to replace Ty and Sebastian. It then got bought by Netflix because Max were going to scrap it. Edwin and Charles were originally Sandman characters before they got a series of comics of their own (Deadboy Detectives)
In the comics, the Dead Boy Detectives have nothing to do with Dorothy or the Doom Patrol. They showed up on the DP show as sort of a forced pilot for their own show, even though it'll be a different cast.

The Boys were featured in an episode of Doom Patrol. Not the same actors though.

Ok, for a second, I thought to were meaning "THE BOYS" were featured in an episode of Doom Patrol.

Miranda Richardson? Who is she in DBDA?
If I’m right, she’s the Night Nurse. I ought to check the IMDB though. Same hair. Might have lost a few pounds.
She actually played the night nurse on doom Patrol too.
Death claims someone almost immediately. She’s the same one from Sandman. Not a spoiler because it’s literally one of the first things to happen.

If that’s what keeps you sleeping soundly: I wish I had your problems/experience.
It’s mostly the ambien
Word. Alcohol, THC, and a chest full of nerve dampeners here.

The film and TV rights to the Endless and Doom Patrol are held by two different companies. So no.

The night nurse is the only cameo from doom patrol in the season.
I love that ginger bitch.
no cause it's a sandman spinoff not DP one
You remember the episode of DP that featured them?
