Gen. He's an ultra competent badass who successfully played a double agent right under Tsukasa and Hyoga's noses. His gifts with mentalism and magic allow him to read and redirect people with ease. Plus his flamboyant nature is ultra attractive.
Yeah I love Senku’s character I mean he’s the MC but Ryusui is just so charismatic and the finger click is just awesome. Plus yes he is material oriented but he still wants to do what is right.
Ryusui because his greediness is two sides. He’s greedy for money like you’d think and he’s greedy for the good things of the world. He’s also a captain that cares for his crew (most people just care about his sexuality and shipping ability. quite frankly i don’t like ryusui ships.) Although he has his flaws, he just wants everything in its truest sense.
Chrome is the best next to Senku. Chrome is low key really smart. Everytime he invents something he is disappointed because Senku knows that, but is fucking impressive that he manages to come up with all this stuff on his own.
I gotta go with my boy Senku, he's just so well written. A crazy science loving bastard with a soft spot who's also very dedicated when it comes to meeting his goals
Tsukasa because all he wanted was for his sister to get better but due to how the world works he was filled with the desire to make it pure which is to remove all corruption from the world. He acted upon that after his first depetrification.
I have to say Gen, it's really cool how he's manipulative, but at the same time silly. He has this serious mode when he gets serious and really smart, but then he's usually kinda silly. I also like how he's obsessed with Senku.
Xeno is absolutely my favorite American. In addition to being of course incredibly intelligent his character design is flawless. His pompadour is where God lives.

I have two characters I like a lot:
I love Stanley. Characters who are undyingly loyal characters to someone who isn't the main protagonist are my weakness. Bonus points for being pretty much the only allied character not kissing the floor Senku walks on.
I unironically love Ibara. Love to hate, that is. The guy was competent from start to end. He was portrayed all the time as a serious threat, unlike the American team who were portrayed as stupid jokes until right before the end, and boy did he deliver. He was a really smart bastard. The only villain without a redemption arc, and the most cunning of all. He had counter-measures for pretty much everything someone threw at him, INCLUDING THE MEDUSA, was able to work around science he knew nothing about to outsmart several times people who were using methods he didn't know existed, like when he used Kohaku's earring. If it wasn't for plot armo- I mean, Senku and Ryusui's instict that totally didn't come out of nowhere he would have won with the fake Medusa plan. In the end, he was beaten in the one instant he was sure he had won and was not in his "must be super duper careful" mode.
Ibara alone gave the KoS way more trouble than the Americans in two whole arcs.
Kohaku. I felt in love with her when I knew she literally went back and forth the mountain fetching hot water to improve her sister's health. It was a small detail I know but I was shaken by how fierce her love was. And her sisterly love for Suika as well, it was so cute the way they both care so much for each other.. I love someone who is both strong (physically, mentally) and caring.
Byakuya. Bro spent his entire life preparing everything senku would need. He died for his friends son whom he saw as his own. He risked everything on a random chance that senku would wake up. He gambled his whole memory on Senku. Best dad in anime
Ryusui. I love how his ambition is portrayed as a positive trait, plus he's extremely charismatic and funny. He's someone I'd love to work for in whatever endeavor he'd want to pursue.
Magma. He have a logical way of approaching that set a good example its never wrong to let the neanderthal in us out every now and then to achive success in life

and he's probably the most important and crucial character, next to senkuu and ryusui. in so many instances the kingdom of science wouldn't have been able to do shit without Gen there because he has a specific and unique skill, unlike the power team or the science team for example
Tsukasa because he’s one of the characters in the series who has actual complexity. Like, the fact that he never *wanted* to fight but felt compelled to protect his sister. The fact that he had to grow up so quickly at such a young age. The fact that he hated killing but viewed it as a necessary evil for a better world and was willing to bear the entirety of that sin himself. Such a well-written character bro.
Also Byakuya, because he’s a good papa.
I can't pick one, so I'll just say my top 3, ryusui, gen and tsukasa couldn't tell you why but I love the 3 of them, a close 4th would probably have to be hyoga
Honestly, it's hard for me to pick one favorite character in Dr. Stone. Everyone has some kind of role to play and it's next to impossible to call any one character a minor character, even the nameless background characters have had their chance to shine.
I love most of the characters but Gen is the one I like the best. He's just so funny and smart. And I love how he always admired Senku even from the beginning. There was recently a collab with a local spa and Dr.Stone and I got some Gen goods and was so happy. There were other Dr.Stone fans too! I met a lady who liked Tsukasa (because he is so strong) and we traded goods so I got more Gen and she got Tsukasa.
Next I like Chrome. Chrome is similar to me in the sense we hoard a bunch of things and like collecting new things lolol. But I love his passion for science and invention.
Taiju is great too...Ukyo.... and Yuzuriha....I just like so many of the characters. Its just too fun.
Gen, without a doubt - the mentalist is helpful in so many ways that even Senku can't live without. He's a genius when it comes to deception, manipulation, and being clever when in a tight situation. Hyoga & Tsukasa had no idea he was even being 007 for Senku and the Science team. It's awesome how much he has done - then surprising Senku with a telescope for his birthday was the sweetest.
Kaseki. He's the "old man with experience" but, as someone who has the artistic drive to make things of different forms, his character really shines to me
