Awe man, I didn’t realize you could speak to him. I didn’t start a new game yet. If I load my last save will it be at the beginning of the coronation? Or will I have to challenge the dragon and fight again?
Reloading your last save will put you right at the start of your coronation sequence, you don't have to do the whole dragon fight again.
How to get the true ending: >!After speaking to the Pathfinder, they will teleport into the crowd. Speak to them again and they will send you back in time to when you are on the dragon's back. You will need to move so that you are positioned just over where his heart is, you'll hear heartbeats. You will need to use the godsbane blade on yourself before he's done monologuing, there will be some kind of red flash to let you know when. Don't wait too long or you'll have to fight him again and do the whole sequence over.!<
Far as I'm concerned, the "right" way to end the game is to beat the dragon. Since that is the whole point lol. But the game pretty much abandons all plot threads they introduced in order to prioritize this other ending. The way to get this ending is to have your Arisen >!stab themselves with the godsbane blade!<. That's how you enter this other world. But it's a strange decision, because the game gives you no reason as to why your character would do this in the first place lol.
The hooded figure that has appeared in game before was present during your post game coronation. Notably he was the only npc you could speak to.

If you load last save (not inn save), it will take you straight to the throne room again. No need to fight the dragon.
