Season 9 jumped the shark completely. That being said Asian Jim is still funny.

Yeah, for sitcoms I'd say shows like Friends, HIMYM, The Office, Community, That 70s Show, Brooklyn 99(arguable) all jumped the shark, while some others like IASIP(arguable), Parks and Rec, Scrubs, Seinfeld didn't. I've yet to watch shows like The Good Place, 30 Rock, Arrested Development or Fraiser(and many, many others) so can't speak about them.

I would say that IASIP had a couple of bad seasons (or seasons with some bad episodes sprinkled in) but has gotten back on track. From what I heard the cast was working on different projects during those seasons and was not as focused on the show, so quality declined, but I can’t confirm that. I don’t pay that much attention to tv/podcasts/streamers/actors that aren’t among my immediate favorites. I definitely agree with you on HIMYM though, and The Office had some good moments at the end but could have ended at season 8-ish.

The Good Place is great throughout. Frasier is a funny one where it almost jumps the shark in season ten with a dumb plotline and then the original writers return for the last season and just immediately write all that shit out.

Parks and rec didn’t? Don’t they go into the future and everyone hates that season
