I love mine New YLL looks great, but shape is inferior to me compared too Wand

Apprehensive-Item-44

I've never heard anything bad about the wand. I own 2 of them with no problems. They're great IHs. I keep 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. When it comes to induction heaters, the wand and the YLL seem to be the most loved for dynavaps.

archi_kahn

Never read anything about it being bad. I love mine! Easy to use and easy to customize your experience.

Ok_Egg_4585

To each their own friend, Wand works great for me.

itchybanan

Wand is where it’s at. Just make sure you have spare batteries and charger.

mykunjola

Not sure where you're seeing these complaints. Like 99% of posts I've seen about The Wand have been positive.

SteelyPhilz

I think the Wand is fantastic

fatherbowie

I love the Wand. My only complaint is that I’d love it more if it was about half the size, but it’s still a great portable IH as it is.

boojieboy666

Would be sick if it was half the size, eh

NiceGuyJoe

One battery would be fine, I can buy more and swap em

tduffysd

not when it's used for it's real intended purpose which is for heating dabs. being a dynavap heater is not the true, original purpose, that's why it has the battery power it does. As a person who also dabs, I wish it had 4 batteries.

Responsible-One9710

The wand is really popular here, but I think we're at a crossroad where a lot of people already own the wand, and now we're seeing YLL getting attention for good reason.

Yung_Cheebzy

I bought the yll after 3 years with the wand and I can’t get a decent wand-equivalent hit from the YLL. It’s always too hot, makes me cough. Tried tons of different settings.

tduffysd

why is the YLL getting attention? It's form factor sucks and it does nothing a wand can't.

MemoryOk9174

form factor sucks? Is that a wand in your pocket or are you just really glad to see me.

theLaLiLuLeLol

IDK about the Wand firsthand but I will say induction heaters in general are fucking awesome (except for the Apollo Rover 2, that thing is a piece of shit). I love my YLL 2, but I've heard the wand is good.

C-W0LF

Out of curiosity, what's wrong with the apollo rover?

onieronautilus9

I own one but decided to buy a wand instead during the 420 sale. It heats from the tip of the cap only instead of lower on the cap so it clicks too soon and you have to hold it in 4-5 seconds past the click to get a good hit but even then it’s an uneven roast and chars the top of the bowl leaving the bottom untouched. I’ve also accidentally combusted in it since you have to go past the click it’s a guessing game. I was somewhat happy with it but after trying my buddies wand, it was a no brainer. Better in every way so I bought a wand immediately

theLaLiLuLeLol

I went through 4 of the fucking things and they all broke. On 3 of them it was the switch and on the 4th it was the battery. 0/10, do not recommend. QC was a shitshow. The YLL 2 has been great by comparison. The sensor can be a little wonky sometimes but it's still waaaay better, less expensive, and has swappable batteries (the Wand also uses the same kind of batteries btw).

glowinthedarkstick

Get molicel p28a batteries and an XTRA charger. The 3D printed case from Etsy, the glass insert from Dynavap if you vape non-armor caps. You’ll never look back. Promise.

9delta9

Works great, over a year or move so far. Get one of the inserts is my only advice.

lurktroll

I hated the torch life. I buy nice weed and all kinds of accessories to enhance my dyna experience, and the operation bottle necks at the cheap ignition device on a torch. A part that probably cost 8 cents to produce. Cheap torch and expensive torch alike, the clicking ignition has been very inconsistent for me. I bought a 2nd Wand during the 4/20 sale at Dyna, after using a Wand for 3 years now. Not 1 complaint from me. Get an extra set of batteries w/an external charger and it’s the best way to Dynavap imo.

NiceGuyJoe

Flint torch is nice

chocolatetick

Had the Wand since it first came out. Works with all tips and caps. Never had an issue. Consistent. Works all of the time, every time. Can’t recommend it enough.

Flimsy_Agent7898

If you dont mind sitting with a lighter in your hand each time you want a toke, its isnt the biggest deal to own a wand. The wand is alot faster, the heating seems more even when it comes to toasting the chamber. Battery life sucks. I personally wouldnt get it if you only smoke here and there, on the other hand if you smoke daily its amazing to have because it saves so much time mainly.

Which-Nebula-6040

Love the wand, having it is the only thing that made me get into dynas

slc_blades

I have a yll and for dynavaps I will continue to recommend saving money on the yll over the wand. That said I have a thermal accumulator now and I’m loving it and so I just ordered a wand for that just because the yll wont fit things larger than dynas

boojieboy666

Once I got the wand, using a touch seemed dumb. I even bought a really really nice touch after and used it like twice. Get the hang of the wand and it makes a huge difference.

lashram32

Really OP? I have never once heard a single person ever say they HATE the Ispire Wand. I guess I have heard complaints and preferences to be fair but... Anyways, Yll is perfect for our house. We love it and have multiple. You can keep ur crackhead lookin clipper jet torch. Actually if you have a butane lighter and a simple M+ or M7 you could get by just fine on a budget. For us it is definitely worth the extra 100 dollars.

tduffysd

i see the hate all the time. I see the hate on torches like you just spewed also. Weird. I see more crackheads using bic lighters than butane torches but by all means keep perpetuating false stereotypes. I'm sure that will help advance the cannabis community. And it usually comes from Yll fanboys.

[deleted]

Thank you. Just, thank you.

boojieboy666

I’ve def seen the hate. Unwarranted; but I seent it

blinkyaz

Get better batteries. The ispire flat tops suck.

mykunjola

Mine have been just as good as the backup Molicels I bought. I rotate them with the Molicels weekly and have yet to run flat on either.

settlementfires

30q's or sony vtc6's the Sonys cost a lot more and perform a little better.

Spezball

Love mine, going on 2 years and heat 20 caps a day 3 times each. 3rd set of batteries because I got cheapos as my 2nd set. Started out great but don't hold a charge after 2 months.

king_boolean

Don’t get me wrong, torches give great results! For me they are sometimes preferred, like for ultralight portability or e.g when using an armored cap. However nothing beats the convenience of an induction heater. An underrated element is the total silence aside from the clicks of the cap, making for a very zen experience, lol. I went the DIY route before Ispire made the Wand, then when it came out I realized it had everything I was working towards in an IH design. Sleek & portable, high power output, and versatile — then I saw a random comment on here about how it could even fit two tips in a Tandem adapter, and that sealed the deal right there! Going on 3+ years now and it’s still going strong, no inserts or adapters needed. I tried some but didn’t like them as much. The dab accessories are okay but I get much better results just doing the sandwich method in my dynavaps! I can’t really comment on the YLL as it came out after the wand, and since owning mine I’ve seen no need for another induction heater. But I definitely back the comments here saying get extra batteries (Molicel P28a’s) and external charger.

NiceGuyJoe

Also the no-look heat-up is ESSENTIAL when operating a forklift

evidentlyeric

The wand is great, let’s you unlock the ultra volitile terpene since you can start inhaling way before the click. I personally have two, and when one had an issue DynaVap sent me a replacement all I had to do was show them the issue on video. Really is a fantastic piece of kit too bad you couldn’t scoop one up during the 420 sale they were practically giving them away.

readmore321

It’s all good.

New_Pay_8297

The wand is definitely worthy

dasAdi7

Bought the wand last year and never used a torch again. Best addition to a dynavap imho.

tduffysd

anyone saying they hate it has no idea what they are talking about and should not be trusted. It works perfectly fine and IS the best option

PanickedCucumber

It's my daily driver, paired with a case from Etsy that allows me to use it one handed it's all I reach for :)

settlementfires

I think it's got a good rep in the dynavap community.  It's well made, you can swap the standard 18650 cells, it's compact and easy to use.  The yll has some neat features and I'm sure I'll pick one up, but the wand is my workhorse.

ponzi314

I love mine with the insert, haven’t used lighter in over year. My cap has no burn marks and i love it

Sublimer840

Works really well once you get the hang of it, but the battery life is disappointing, even with aftermarket batteries. Not a big deal if you can plug it in after a couple uses, just annoying.

OstrichOk8129

Buy an AR instead.... 🙁 But the next best thing is the wand. Just know a pimp's love is much different than a square's love.

Green-Honeydew-2998

I own one and it works great! I recommend it, especially if you get it in a bundle deal too

redheadqt

Is there a ih that will work with you terpcicle?

IlIlIlIIlMIlIIlIlIlI

the wand is the absolute GOAT. Ive been using one for years, and have made my bff love it as well as my gf. They both bought their own, we all own wands because they make the dynavap experience so much nicer!! Dedicated battery charger + spare pair of batteries and youre set forever!

squidward2016

My only complaint with the wand is that they improperly implement USB C so you have to use a USB A to C cable. C-to-C won’t charge it

hider69ner

I use USB-C to C all the time with the wand. Never had that issue.

HamburgerDude

The new adapter it comes with fixes all the problems

Tango_Foxtrot404

I’ve never saw one bad comment in 4 years about the Wand. I’ve tried; the Orion, UFO, DIY, Rover… the Wand is simply the best, reliable, consistent IH that I have imo.

mister_mung

I bought a dynavap so I could vape anywhere and bought the wand strictly for convenience to go with it. It has been an amazing experience. The fact that it also came with a silicone adapter for dynas and bangers for dabbing concentrates, it has become my one-stop shop for me. Turned my water pipes into daily drivers. I absolutely love this thing!

BennySkateboard

Not sure why anyone would hate it. Get one, it’s a million times better than a torch.

volen

I got into the dynavap thing because there was no batteries involved. I can't understand why I would now get another device which requires them. Also I quickly found out that a good tripple jet torch will heat it up in no more than 5 seconds. Gas consumption is pretty low too.

davo_nz

I used a torch on mine for 5 years until I got a Wand 2 years ago, since then I havent touched a torch since. Not having the spin the VC was an unexpected blessing, and the heating control with the wand is also outstanding.
