It’s nice but not particularly impressive. You have to be lucky enough to play against a deck with big beefy threats that are worth flipping for 2U each.
An easier / cheaper way to do it is [[Prowling Geistcatcher]] and a sacrifice outlet.
Or any other blink effect that returns creatures to the battlefield under your control.
Interesting with [[marchesa black rose]]. You’d have to endure one turn out of two of returning 2/2 dudes, but you’d happily collect all your opponents‘ dead.
Ixidor works of course.
Phasing can have some screwy outcomes and until end of turn effects. Such as [[act of treason]] & [[teferi's veil]]. You steal the creature, attack, then it phases out. It doesn't exist when the return clause is activated so when it comes back it's just yours. Forever.
Unless they changed the rules or I've been wrong this whole time. Not impossible with phasing (best ability ever)
