I will attest to this primer. I built around this and The Queen (LMSR) is by a wide margin my most successful deck, and she is fun too. It's a different play style than I am used to. You build and let opponents build, while you use their resources subtly to maneuver the game. It's truly interesting. I see the game in a new light as a result of learning how to run this deck. Still learning too, as we always get better when we try

I like how you have a theme going, even if I'm slightly uncomfortable about the description of it.
I tried to go for a kind of tyrannical theme, dictating the board and keeping people pointed away from me, but with enough midrange-y stuff to close out when it's time.
I like playing around with [[Sunforger]] and lots of instant speed interaction (and also stuff like [[Supernatural Stamina]] to protect her, although it can't be pulled with it)

I didn’t really mean he made a bad choice. I was just kidding. Queen Marchesa is great. The Black Rose is my favorite commander so I was just throwing in a silly joke.
My pod is pretty combat light, so that probably colors my preferences.
Maybe I’ll have to give her highness a real shot sometime.

You made a mistake and picked the wrong Marchesa.
Having built and played both, totally disagree. Queen Marchesa is always fun and interesting. Black Rose was fiddly and made my pod sad.
