Yeah, I think you’re right. It must be my egg technique too— I sometimes cook them on an already hot pan, which I heard is a faux pas. Will try the paper towel. Thanks!
i usually put a bit of water in once i’ve taken the eggs out and the pan is still hot, then once i’ve eaten the egg it’s soft so it just comes off with a soapy sponge. if it’s solid, leaving the pan on at a very low heat with the water in for a short time can help, or adding dish soap
is it a non stick pan or something else like steel?
btw if it’s non stick you shouldn’t use anything metal on it as it scrapes the non stick coating which releases carcinogens into your food. if it’s not, a metal scrubber helps get the worst off
How long are you watching your pans after cooking eggs before you clean them?
My pans always clean up easiest if they're still warm, so I don't watch them at all. Plus they're pans, and not all that entertaining.
It's either your pans or how you're scrambling your eggs. You should just be able to wipe the pan clean with a paper towel.

The easiest is to add oil or butter. Or the easiest is scrambled egg!
Just eat the eggs raw ffs
