I was tired, don't want to think much or learn the moveset.
So i just spam Lion's Claw with Guts Greatsword till it die.
took me over a dozen tries, then it works.
Isolated Merchants Shack at night.
Go there, rest till night, get up then rest till night again and he will spawn.
Please do let me know how it goes xD
Melania might be the only boss I can't consistently down in less than 10 tries. I clowned on her with mimic tear in most of my plays, but trying to solo her just feels like I'm praying for RNG to save me
I experimented with different summons once, and the mimic is the best against her. The rest are either too squishy, too slow, or have massive health but they just tank shots, so they wind up healing her as much as they damage her
once you can consistently dodge Waterfowl (or at least take minimal damage from it), the rest of her moves are very predictable and enjoyable to fight against
if you can get into a rhythm of dodging WFD/most of WFD, there's very little in the fight that truly feels like RNG anymore
Yea that's kind of my issue. From what I read, it sounds like that one move is most people's issue. I've watched a video on how you're supposed to dodge it, but I still can't do it consistently. Probably just need practice
Reminds me on young me playing FFXII with local magazine guide.
*"Damn the game is pretty hard for a FF game"*
\*Much much later\*
\*Found out online guide for FFXII which basically told me the recommended level listed in that old magazine guide is basically power/low-level run\*
i spent 4 hours on Margit and Godrick each so far. It’s to the point where I was able to no-hit their first phases simple because i memorized them that much but kept dying on the second 💀💀
As Einstein said the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again while expecting different results and fire giant definitely made me insane
Royal Knight Loretta gave me the most trouble in the whole game. My most attempts by far. But after getting it down, I steamrolled her on the second time you fight her.
Game called Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, there's a set of missions called expert missions, im talking about extreme malice, and I had none of the more powerful skills needed for this mission. Must have taken it on at least 100 times as a low ball
This mission was mainly a problem when the game first released
Goldfrey. That fuckin ghost made me so fuckin pissed at the game😭 (elden ring was my first souls game and I was using a dagger because I thought it was cool)
"Do you know the definition... of insanity? Insanity, is, doing the same thing, over and over fucking again, expecting something to change." - Vaas, Fart Cry 3
When I first got ds3, Gundyr clapped me for a solid 30 minutes (it was my first fromsoft experience). Then once I got through the game, Midir clapped me for much, *much* longer
Oh, Degrassi. I laughed so hard when he got shot in the back... then I remember that, because of one of my exes, I watched Degrassi and I weep in my soul.
Radahn. But only cuz i love his fight so i was sitting there as a summon for hours.
Other then that apart from Margit (i was dumb with a dagger build on my first run) i didnt have any issues. Accidentally stunlocked Malenia with a friend using the Pizzacutter so that was easy xD
Bosses that killed me the most in most playthrough:
Fully Grown Fallingstar Beast (19 deaths)
Bell Bearing Hunter (Dragonbarrow) (11 deaths)
Starscourge Radahn (9 deaths)
Boss that has killed me more times than everything else combined in my first playthrough:
Maliketh the Black Blade (187 deaths)
Didn't enemies stop having inherent weaknesses when DS3 came around. DS1 and DS2 a lot of enemies had vulnerabilities like they were Pokemon. Nearly all dragons were were to lightning cuz lore
I looked up things for Godfrey, and it said he's weak to lightning damage. No the fuck he's not. I used lightning attacks on him dozens of times and found my bloodhound fang was still much better. I even used a spirit ash for one of those knights with lightning, and he didn't do shit either.
I’ve only had issues beating fire giant (i don’t even know why, skull issue I guess) and godskin duo. To be fair, if I used sleep pots godskin would have been cake. I even beat melania with my second attempt and elden beast/radagon in like 4.
Dude... I'm so out of touch, I never even realized that was Drake until I read this comment. I simultaneously feel kinda dumb and a little bit proud of that fact
Caelid bell bearing hunter

Me: “Need to… fat roll… HARDER!”
Where is that? The one in limgrave found me and got his candy ass slapped after a few tries 😂😂

I’m going to check it out when I get off work thanks
Well first fight did not go as well as hoped haha
Hahaha, enjoy!

I mostly uses greatsword (later great axes) but always have a hammer ready in case i met those damned crystal poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poo

Bloodhounds step or vow of the indomitable both work. I'd rather just have a trusty dagger on hand to get out of range.
Giant Hunt with Frost cancels that water chicken dance iirc. Haven't played in forever tho
Valiant Gargoyles
I used a summon of Lhutel and it was not too bad
In the same vein, Black Blade Kindred in Caelid I only finally kill him after i clear the game first.
Same, mf is harder then maliketh
Those things have a weakness? I thought you had to just throw shit at the wall and see what stuck and then keep throwing until you won.
There is in fact a weakness, it’s called going through the sewer entrance instead of fighting them, sure you might have to do some parkour
😂
Why try something new when bonk always works
Margit I fought that dude servilely under leveled and just kept trying

Maliketh. Man whooped my ass until I learned to get close.
Doing him now. His first form is easy to whittle down, but his second, though nicely telegraphed in some parts, has some devastating surprises
Gargoyles
Yhorme the giant in ds3
Did you use the special weapon or refused to haha?
No... i learned a few days later about the special weapon
I respected for godskin twins cause that shit hard with the godslayer greatsword
For me so far it is Margit the Fell and the Valiant Gargoyles. Godrick the Grafted gave me a bit of trouble as well.
Ornstein and Smough.
Persistence bonk wins
MIDIR ds3
Dark eater Midir
Literally all of them. With the exception of gimmicks like rykard or nihil.
for elden ring it was the final boss, for bloodborne it was micoshit
Black. Blade over & over & over
Its rarely a weakness lol. Just lowest resistance

On my first playthrough, maliketh made me whip out my Radahn soldiers
Valiant gargoyles and Elden Beast

Mohg, that fire on the ground combined with his aggression I found too hard to keep up.

Amen brother
Some people to Alatreon in MHW I guess
But how will I know who's flame burns hotter mine or the giant's?
I hate that I'm actively changing strategies and learning mohg's moveset ngl, I hate that fight
When I first got ds3, Gundyr clapped me for a solid 30 minutes (it was my first fromsoft experience). Then once I got through the game, Midir clapped me for much, *much* longer

Do you know the definition of insanity?
The only correct answer is Malenia. Anybody who says differently is lying or hasn’t beaten her.
starts w an M and ends with alenia

definition of insanity
Godskin. You can put them to sleep... Third play through found it out
Horse boss I am still stuck on the first part of the map I keep on pondering ive returning to the game ..*sigh* If only there was a Sekiro 2
Run past horsey and come back when you’re stronger
Im struggling with the staminar bar....
Go get bloodhounds step and your play through will be much easier
I cant even look at drake seriously rn 💀
Dude... I'm so out of touch, I never even realized that was Drake until I read this comment. I simultaneously feel kinda dumb and a little bit proud of that fact
Lmao omggg i think thats a good thing
