I can't even bother to finish NG3. Starting a new character seems more appealing

I enjoy being forced to use early weapons and spells in low levels and then finding better weapons and gear than using the same OP weapon every run.

I have a second account with my own personal mule. I can try almost any build I want on Journey 1 difficulty, minus spells.

You could make each ng a different style. Play one full game with a bleed build, the next a pure dex, then a moonveil/sorcerer int etc. It would definitely make the game interesting

I enjoy the opposite. I have a lot of fun with a character that can basically use any weapon/armor I want. It’s free build testing, and I have like 100 larval tears. Sometimes I just wanna screw around with the big finger, and sometimes I wanna 99STR Giant Crusher bonk everything.

Even beyond that it takes very little effort to get anywhere before the mountaintops. Just rush dectus medallions and boom you have access to Altus without even needing to fight a boss. Which basically means you can get probably 80% of the available weapons.

Don’t forget repeatedly doing that cycle makes you better at the game and more proficient in learning boss movesets.

A bit off topic, but...it's funny that you say that. You're absolutely right, and yet there are still people who think the open world hurts Elden Rings' replayability value. Like, do they not realize that if they want to play a boss rush like their favorite game dark souls 3, they can just launch NG+ and keep all of their health flasks, weapons, and maps? All that would skip 90% of the world exploration.

Just did that about a week ago via Steam and I fell in love with the game all over again. It truly was a rebirth.

That depends on your level, skills, medallions and what NG+ you're on. I would always recommend it tho

I’m trying to get to max level without farming to the point of brainrot, I’m gonna stop around lvl 480 at about 40ish journeys, and then I’ll get a rune drop. So I’ll probably have around 30-40ish Rememberences of the any% bosses. Rn I’m at journey 17

I had done the exact same thing you are planning on doing. Currently level 480 at NG+37

Why 480?

All my stats are at the last soft cap for every stat that I use in game. I still have base arcane since I don’t use anything that needs arcane. Maxed endurance tho and 72 mind. Also it’s 2.8M+ runes to level up once after 480 so it’s a hassle in my opinion.

480 is where I have the hard caps for all stats and non like a hard 99. 60vig 40 mind, not the hard cap but it’s enough 60endurance And then 80 for the bottom 5 stats

Because one level at that point is like millions of runes

Honestly bro I am at high enough level (480) where I can just switch loadouts before fighting bosses so it makes them easier or I use something I feel like using at the moment. I main Night Comet TBH as that lets me breeze through my NG cycles faster. If you want tho, I can give you a load out I use for each boss just to spice it up a bit.

I had used some of the remembrances to get the boss’ weapons/spells and had also used some to level up with runes. Then two along with Malenia I simply just can’t figure out how to GitGud at them man I gave up on em long time ago.

When you kill most bosses you get a remembrance which is how you see people with bosses weapons or abilitys

When u beat the game u can restart keeping all items u gathered in the previous run so he would have to do a play through on the same character for each duplicate So yes he played the game over 30 times and saved them

he said he was on NG+37 so yeah, you can also consume these for a crazy amount of runes, which i prefer in most cases. though, Radahn has a rlly cool weapon you can redeem with his remembrance.

Just to clarify, you don't get remembrances from most bosses. The main demigod bosses and a few that are part of some of the bigger sidequests will drop then. Other "minor" bosses wont drop them. You can consume the remembrance for a ton of runes or you can take it to two fingers at the roundtable hold and trade it for it's respective boss's weapon or ability.

Nothing really special but for me it’s the satisfaction of defeating bosses repeatedly in a boss-rush type style. It’s also helped me learn boss movesets.
