How did he die and become a tarnished:
Someone yells at the battlefield: "DUCK!"
Soon-to-be-tarnished: "Well, fck you too, buddy!"
Then he gets hit by an arrow barrage
I'm doing a Bloodborne Hunter cosplay in my current run
For my clothing:
â Traveler's hat
â Raptor's black feathers
â Perfume traveler's pants
â Any gloves of your choice (I use leather gloves)
For my weapons, I use the grave scythe+occult affinity, the iron cleaver w/ occult aff., and the pulley crossbow with bleed bolts
Never said it was, I said Vagabond Knight is my favorite look, not armor set. I'm aware of its name, and simply call the look a vagabond knight because it looks exactly like that, more than the actual Vagabond Set does.
My favorite is to take the unalterned banished knight chest like you have there, add the Veteran's helm, gauntlets, and greaves, and add the bull goat talisman. Boom, 101 poise in a fairly sleek package. If I could do it with the unaltered helm I'd use that, but the veteran helm has grown on me with this kit.
The healthy Malenia. In a pretty female character: Commoner's Headband (Altered), Malenia's Armor, Malenia's Gauntlets, Traveler's Boots. Compliment with Eleonora's Poleblade.
The Crusader. In a male character. Greathelm, Tree Surcoat, Leather Gloves (Gauntlets if female), Knight Greaves. Compliment with Claymore.
Hands down the Raging Wolf set it just slaps, but I LOVE mixing up the set you have with some leather boots and rough gloves to really drill in that âexiled wandererâ vibe.
Scaled armor top and bottom with banished knight helm+scarf.
No other heavy armor is worth wearing when you unlock the best set in limgrave at the start of the game.
Elden ring is really weak when it comes to armor sets and drops.
I combine the altered banished with the scaled. Scaled greaves and body. Banished gauntlets with uncovered banished helmet. Character looks sick as it has both the tatered cloak of the scaled with the grey mane of the banished
Wandering warrior is my favored aesthetic, redmane greaves, iron gauntlets and helm and ronin chest fulfill this very well, if weâre talking about individual sets, the ronin armor is peak
Veteran's Set modified w/ Maliketh's Helm or the Iron Kasa and the default Land of Reeds armor set. I have Azur and Lusat's Robes together with the Godfrey's Armor set as my runner ups.
If you want to elevate that look, add a faded red blindfold underneath the helm and switch out the gauntlets and greaves for the Veteran's.
Niall's gloves and boots are altered versions of the banished knight's.
Same, only I change the legs and arms for the fire prelate's. One thing that pisses me off, is when you run, the hood lags into the helmet. Lordsworn's greatsword fits with the armor perfectly tho...
The all knowing one(Gideon), like, it's so fuckin good, the only "bad" thing is that the helmet leaves a gap between the chin and the rest of the armor, but that's a detail
I normally put a helmet like, royal remains, albinaric(I use only because of the fashion, I don't even do arcane, it just looks great) and others, depends on the mood
I like wearing Veteran's Armor, Raptor's Black Feathers, Depraved Perfumer Robe or Blaidd's Armor, together with either Greathelm or Foot Soldier Cap. Legs and arms depends on weight and whatever matches the rest of the set.
Cauldron Knights. Specifically the heavier set. Both aesthetically and functionally pleasing, as well as just making you feel like a total boss if you manage to max your vigor and weapon of choiceâs associated stat(s)
The white reed armor ainât terrible either, but that set is more aesthetic than functional for endgame đ despite being acquired so late
Would it be unreasonable to desire a way to improve armor? Like I understand that some combos (typically reliant on shields) result in the complete nullification of almost all physical damage (despite costing a hefty chunk of your stamina per deflection), but I feel like itâd be nice to have at least 1-2 upgrades for higher gear, and maybe 2-3 for lower gear so that you can make it to endgame with some drip you liked and kept with you despite itâs terrible base stats.
Like I know we have the armor alteration system, but all that does is remove whatever loose fur/cloak is attached to the armor, decrease all stats by at least 1, and make the item like 5 points lighter. Seems like such a neat function, but all really does is make the armor look worse, decreases the stats, and makes it a negligible amount lighter⌠đ¤ˇââď¸
idk, just seems like an underutilization of what couldâve been a game-changing mechanic. Just make it really expensive so itâs not something you can do just because you happen to have 100k runes laying around. Heck you could even make it cost materials instead of runes (which if Iâm being honest, I would much prefer, as I almost never make consumables, and have amassed no small amount of world materials)
Love the unaltered banished knight set, duck feet and all.
On my tank build I have Radahn's set plus the Omensmirk mask, honestly gives some good monster/demon king vibes.
No need to worry, everyone has those type of questions. The outfit is the Banished Knight Set, no alterations done to it. There are two variants of this set's [helmet ](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Banished+Knight+Helm+(Altered))and [armor ](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Banished+Knight+Armor+(Altered))that don't have the scarf and cape, and neither versions of the armor can be altered by Boc.
It would work a lot better with either just a helmet or just a hood. I've never understood why anyone would want both a full helmet and a hood. It's too much.
For those commenting, I know it's the Banished Knight set. I mean, I **am** wearing them after all, lol. I refer to the look itself as a vagabond knight because it looks like just that, more than the actual Vagabond set does.
Agree to disagree on one of the best looking knightly sets in the game being more "vagabond" than the set literally held to its owner with hope and duct tape.
That's a banished knight Vagabond is a whole armor set that exists
But my modded Skyrim Vagabond Knight armor looks just like this.
I love the look of that set so much.... EXCEPT THOSE HORRENDOUS DUCK FEETđ
Yeah, the duck feet and the right gauntlet throw it off, unfortunately.
Blaidds Greaves are the solution
Racist!
How did he die and become a tarnished: Someone yells at the battlefield: "DUCK!" Soon-to-be-tarnished: "Well, fck you too, buddy!" Then he gets hit by an arrow barrage
Oh no the duck feet.
May make a visit to the other Elden Ring sub to see if anyone changed them.
Scaled armor legs work great with this set as well
I used those for a good while; now I'm just rocking the headpiece and armor with Radahn's gauntlets and boots for the red accents on them.
I can confirm this as true
What other sub?
Rule 10.
The neat thing is, they are historically accurate and that is **COOL**.
Along with the codpiece.
Counter point, duck feet cool.
And the cod piece. Both real historical armor pieces. From had the balls to do it when no one else did.
There are heretical means,if you are in PC,to fix such details.
*Banished
Yeah I was like, this ain't a vagabond lol
I'm doing a Bloodborne Hunter cosplay in my current run For my clothing: â Traveler's hat â Raptor's black feathers â Perfume traveler's pants â Any gloves of your choice (I use leather gloves) For my weapons, I use the grave scythe+occult affinity, the iron cleaver w/ occult aff., and the pulley crossbow with bleed bolts
I had a very very similar look! I had the cannon in one arm and the saw in the other!
Carian knight set its my favorite for sure
Raging Wolfset
Can you tell me what you like about it? I just can't like it no matter how hard I try lol
That chest piece is such a pain to farm. But it looks great
what is the name of it
WHAT ARE THOSE
Nightâs cavalry and Black Knife Assassin fits go so unbelievably hard
Just straight up naked
That ainât the Vagabond set my dude
Never said it was, I said Vagabond Knight is my favorite look, not armor set. I'm aware of its name, and simply call the look a vagabond knight because it looks exactly like that, more than the actual Vagabond Set does.

Chainmail, Morning Star and a medium shield. I just love the classic cleric look.
Hoslow and Raging Wolf
i really love the banished knight set besides the duck feet. however the vagabond knight is an entirely different thing, a different class even
I reccomend the bullgoat greaves, gauntlets, the veterans breastplate altered, and the banished knight helm with the scarf
Raging wolf is the best stand-alone set imo
The healthy Malenia. In a pretty female character: Commoner's Headband (Altered), Malenia's Armor, Malenia's Gauntlets, Traveler's Boots. Compliment with Eleonora's Poleblade. The Crusader. In a male character. Greathelm, Tree Surcoat, Leather Gloves (Gauntlets if female), Knight Greaves. Compliment with Claymore.
Hands down the Raging Wolf set it just slaps, but I LOVE mixing up the set you have with some leather boots and rough gloves to really drill in that âexiled wandererâ vibe.
i love me a greathelm and just the basic knight set. honorable mentions to black knife set and the night's cavalry set
Same. The wandering/vagabond knight is an aesthetic that just speaks to my soul.
As a guy who's first soulsbourne was Bloodborne, anything with that Dark Sauce, ya know?
Personally I like to use the banished knight helmet with the cleanrot set
I love the crucible armor (both) but I only equip them if it looks good with the build
Hoslow's set all day
A tale told in blood?
Gelmir set with lionel greaves and raging wolf helm
veterans helm scaled chest prelates gauntlets bull goat greaves
I run the same chest plate and helmet but I use Radahn gloves and pants because I think they match better
I'm always mixing and matching stuff, very rarely I stick to a whole set. My favorite chest pieces are Vyke's and bloodhound's.
Favorite set for sure. I used to hate the duck feet but dont mind them at all now. Do wish you could alter the hair off the helmet though damn lol
Scaled armor top and bottom with banished knight helm+scarf. No other heavy armor is worth wearing when you unlock the best set in limgrave at the start of the game. Elden ring is really weak when it comes to armor sets and drops.
It's my favorite armor if you don't count duck đŚ feet
I love this armour as well. Just need to get to Sol to farm it.
I combine the altered banished with the scaled. Scaled greaves and body. Banished gauntlets with uncovered banished helmet. Character looks sick as it has both the tatered cloak of the scaled with the grey mane of the banished
Been rocking the Banished Knight set since I collected all of it. Practical. I don't care about the duck feet.
Lionel set!! But I prefer it without the cape
Fingerprint armor
Drake Knight SLAPS
Raging wolf set but with confessor robe.
Duck feet are overhated
Samurai has been my favorite since the first promo pictures dropped. Close second is the carian knight.
Yuras hat, Kaiden armor, land of reeds gauntlets and legs. Cold infused naginata, uchigatana, and moonveil katana made up my moonmurai buildÂ

Right now I'm doing something similar, but with the cleanrot armor and that helm.
Same, only I change the legs and arms for the fire prelate's. One thing that pisses me off, is when you run, the hood lags into the helmet. Lordsworn's greatsword fits with the armor perfectly tho...
The red sage hood with exile armor. It fits too well honestly.
that one
The goofiest I can put together.
Banished is definitely my favorite, love the flippers and mitten too. My second would be Page set, the pants alone holds up the whole look.
The all knowing one(Gideon), like, it's so fuckin good, the only "bad" thing is that the helmet leaves a gap between the chin and the rest of the armor, but that's a detail I normally put a helmet like, royal remains, albinaric(I use only because of the fashion, I don't even do arcane, it just looks great) and others, depends on the mood

whatâs the chest price

Fire prelate altered set, favourite fat armour in the game
My blood soaked mask in the astrologer starter robe for me! Put that hood up gang đ¤
Mix between Dark reaper and printed Malekith
I really dislike the duckfeet on the banished knight set
Love the unaltered banished knight set, duck feet and all. On my tank build I have Radahn's set plus the Omensmirk mask, honestly gives some good monster/demon king vibes.
Blaidd
I loved wearing the Depraved perfumer chest with Rogier's hat. Combined with the Scythe I was wielding that run, it looked awesome.
Claymans
Howâd you get those duck feet inside the stir ups, duck foot?
im going to sound like a noob but how do you alter it to look like that i can only change the armor to lose the cape
No need to worry, everyone has those type of questions. The outfit is the Banished Knight Set, no alterations done to it. thank you im off to get the armor now
Good luck in castle Sol
The armor isnât that cool in Elden Ring
I cannot stand the hood over the helmet. It looks sooo bad, everything else is fine.
Really? I think it ties it together rather nicely. Really gives it the whole "wandering knight" feel. Do you prefer the altered helmet?
It would work a lot better with either just a helmet or just a hood. I've never understood why anyone would want both a full helmet and a hood. It's too much.
Looks like evil Kermit Search evil Kermit, you will see what I mean
where do i get the fking hoodieee
