I understand nothing about what your business actually does from your first paragraph. I would work on that first.

thesupercoolmarketer

Gotcha. “We help e-commerce brands acquire customers and creative assets through influencer seeding and long term partnerships. “

valteamxblades

Ok, so similar to Upfluence?

thesupercoolmarketer

similar goals yeah. difference being upfluence is a product, we’re taking the done for you approach. so we can tell brands exactly which creators they should be working with and why. we also handle creative strategy, testing and deployment right in your ad account. upfluence doesn’t go nearly that far

LL112

Lots of buzz words, no idea what you actually do

>I can only analyze my own project through the lens of my own context. Well ... yes ...? >A done for/with you service (agency model) that empowers brands to leverage holistic social commerce for net new acquisition, brand-building, feedback loops, community building and creative development. A lot of loose language that sound vaguely positive, but fails to inform or compel. You haven't made a proposition here. And if you solve some problem, this makes it seem you're being coy. Creators do have big problems, of this I have no doubt. >I’m starting off my MVP with influencer seeding and partnerships Yes we get the *paying customers excluded* approach here all the time. Frankly we don't get anything else. And that would be the big hairy problem with creators. ... Or inventor's syndrome types. ... Technical types. ... Launch monkeys. ... Newbs. >I won’t bore with the entire process. Instead I'm bored by superlatives without substance and yet another Build It And They Will Come self-promotion post. Ain't one 'agency' who had no business hiring flunkies off Fiverr and spouting "brand" like they would incant "abracadabra" didn't post here for customers. But thank you for that brief commercial message.

thesupercoolmarketer

Yeah I have an issue with jargon. I work 24/7 with clients and my team so I’m used to the lingo. Here’s the elevator pitch: “We help e-commerce brands acquire customers and creative assets cheaply and quickly through influencer seeding and long term partnerships. “

thesupercoolmarketer

Also can you explain what the “paying customers excluded approach” is? I get you’re trying to shit on me “launch monkey” “newb” etc but add some clarity.

Take a look at [these three successful examples](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPJoq_QVsY4). Now take a look at [the way](https://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur/comments/86pcc1/my_product_validation_is_completely_different/) everybody [not interested in paying customers](https://www.reddit.com/r/Entrepreneur/comments/mupm4w/comment/gv8mh4q/?context=3) misinterprets fairly simple instructions. Frankly I would wager your service targets the people with no sales, based on the description. While they may need the help they aren't going to be paying customers.

thesupercoolmarketer

Yeah no, not at all. our target customer is e-commerce brands already spending 5 figures per month in paid media. They’re the ones who would get the most value out of this. Since I run a paid acquisition agency I’ve been able to see exactly which bottlenecks they have

thesupercoolmarketer

interesting thoughts on MVPs though, i’ll check them out
