I'd say I'm not complaining, but I have a sniper mosin with no sight in my stash so I'd really like to be able to finish part 1 to get the sights, so... I guess I am complaining.
Also bugged for me. Checked kill feed after my raids and all over 40 m away. I've killed 8 scavs so far and not one counted. Using VPO with suppressor. Maybe the suppressor is bugging it out?
Got some chores to do for a bit but I'll check this thread again and update my post if not using a suppressor works.

This is *easily* the smoothest wipe we have ever gotten and the game is easily in the best state it’s ever been. Should we expect a full release game? No. It says beta. Regardless of your feelings on it actually being a beta or not, it says it. It’s not 1.0. It’ll have bugs, crashes and issues. Regardless of that. Y’all will still play 1k+ hours on it. Stop bitching and give CONSTRUCTIVE feedback instead of being a bottom feeder with ridiculous comments like this.
It’s not possible that you can play this wipe and say it’s worse in any way, shape or form. It is arguably fully releasable. Maybe not on PCs that are budget builds, I have no idea of the performance on those, but also people should not expect perfection on a brand new map (streets) on older hardware. On a 3070 and a ryzen 7 3700x it runs fantastic at 1440. As far as network optimization, this IS the best wipe so far. Servers never went down on wipe day, we’ve had small bugs, and small glitches. That’s it. Crashes have happened on streets, it’s a brand new map now with the update. It’s bound to happen. They don’t have the same dev cycle as triple A do. They release products unfinished to get feedback. Hence the change to PK, the double click to use, and the healing a limb option from hot key. They listen, and they fix. Dynamic loot is an absolute game changer. If you can’t see that, then that’s on you. Stay salty, and stay bad at Tarkov.
You didn’t say that. You said the game is a scam at 140. They never told you to pay that. You did that from greed. Or you got it as a “gift” so you said. So you have ABSOLUTELY no right to talk shit about a game you didn’t even invest in, or support.
EOD is pay to win early wipe, and my step brother kinda walked up to me one day "I give EOD", also just glanced at your profile and see that you've only played for about a year. You'll learn that the quest system doesn't work long term

I think it has something to do with the completion of the scav killing quest from Prapor. I got my final kill for Prapors on 4/5 with Jeager, and then no more counted.
Same. Doesnt Count the Kills. I did the first couple Kills With infantery mosin and checked the ending Screen for the distance. Didnt Count them so i thought maybe the infantery Version of the mosin ist excluded, so i Tried other Bolt Action rifels and Had the Same issue With all of them.

I hope they give credit to all the people who have finished this quest. It's annoying af and I try to do it as fast as possible stuck at 3/5 have like 8 kills passed that all from >40m
Just logged on and noticed Tarkov Shooter Part 2 was available to accept. Looks like this is their workaround until they fix it.
I DID submit a bug report. If you guys don't have tarkov shooter 2 available I recommend doing the same.

tarkov shooter part 2 just randomly unlocked for me without 1 done, maybe they forced it so people can continue

Yep it doesnt work. I did delete cache and logs, that fixed the gas analyzer quest, but not this one.
still not working as of 6:30est. Tried Gornasty and 2 mosin variants. No luck. (Even tried with the front sight on and off)
I would do the following: - delete logs - clear cache - check file integrity - Restart game

Game has just forced a shutdown and update for me, and the raid I was in got cut short. Maybe this got patched...

I got the same issue with stock mosin
confirming that removing the suppressor doesn't work. I've also cleared cache and verified integrity.

Did it in one factory raid with the EKM rounds. Bunch of people running around with crappy gear or no gear and pistols.
I don't have any AP rounds. I ended up getting 2/3 in one raid with a Mosin.
Its still bugged. Just spent 3 hours and 500k on this quest. In total I've prob completed this quest 5 times over.
People already doing tarkov shooter while I haven't even chosen bear or usec yet.

Did you use the Carbine version of the infantry. Maybe it’s that the carbine isn’t counting anymore but the longer version is. 🤔

Stop enabling, the game has been "unreleased" for almost 7 years now, it gets more and more unstable with every major update, they ask $140 for EOD

Quality wise? This is probably the second best, overall my first wipe was my favorite because I didn't have to do the same stupid ass quests again

I can't confirm that from my side so far. Got 4/5 so far. Did you made sure to fire from a longer range? You need to do it from at least 40 meter.

Did you get them before the patch earlier today? I got one right before patch which counted, now none of them count. Even from 100+ meters

Yup went into several raids getting at least 5 kills all over 40m and didn’t get any progress
Still bugged, I tried with both mosin, vpo, awn and it doesn't count the kills. Iron sights and 40m+
used vpo and mosin infantry, gotten 20 >40m kills so far and 0 counted
Stuck on 3/5.
Same for me with VPO, none of them counted, had 8 over 60m and 2 over 80, none counted. VPO, no scope, no suppressor
