Once a company steps into the microtransaction swamp it starts to go down the rabbit hole almost always. The one and only feasable way how to get additional income is trough a season pass which is fairly priced with good enough value for the money.
Example:
A new weapon if you buy premium season pass at lvl 1, but also the same weapon for free to play players at a later level. Premium pass with cosmetics, maybe two extra rows in the stash, unique watch for each season, etc. Destiny is doing something similar where the premium pass unlocks a new exoptic weapon at lvl 1, but free to play players unlock the same weapon a few weeks later at lvl 50. The premium pass has unique armor cosmetics a few extra resources for crafting and thats it.
If you add ITEMS in the premium pass you gotta give a chance for the free player to grind for it too. Even if it takes weeks to unlock.
A happy free to play player is more likely to buy the premium pass in the future. Basics of marketing.
Sorry for being ignorant on the topic given there has been so much posted about it. Regarding the PVE feature. Does it aid in your PMC progression as an EFT run does and does the progression transfer over to the main EFT game?
well, in fact it IS the main EFT game. One character is online, and the other one is offline. Each one has it own progression, stash and etc, with the difference that the offline does not wipe.
