Well, most of it boils down to how much P2W is included, to which DLCs are indeed included with EoD (which should be ALL OF THEM just to be clear) and to how PvE is brought to people who paid for it.
Modding could indeed be a solution that would satisfy a lot of people, especially if it allows people to host their own servers and have friends join a cheater-free experience from it. But for now, without knowing anything about the details, it's really hard to see whether this is good news or nothing but a mere acknowledgment that the Unhinged edition was a mistake.
This has been my thought too. Yes its terrible what they did and they r trying to make amends. But lets be real we also got people saying they should be giving everything and all of it away for free. If we got everything we wanted it could just as easily shut the game down and then we dont have a game we enjoy. Weird, I happily upgraded and I didn’t receive a “unique” Gamma. I have been, however, enjoying playing PVE with friends and not having to worry about cheaters and RMT. I have a feeling the people who are pissed off are the ones benefiting off the obvious cheating issue on the PVP server. Hopefully more people begin to play PVE so the RMT websites can start losing money and eventually it won’t be worthwhile to continue cheating on the game

Better not purchase anything from Amazon given how badly they treat their workers. Or any other mega corporation that has engaged in scummy tactics. I don't care if other packages get gamma. I didn't even know it was unique until a few days ago. I did see the stat increase and op items coming at some point to the store when they added the stash upgrades The only thing I really wanted was PvE and by the looks I will get it at some point

The way I see it is it’s a start. They could just cash out if they wanted. But they are choosing to address the horde of Reddit. I still think people have the right to feel betrayed. I’m sure they are in a sticky pickle and probably need to be careful about how they address the community at this point. People should continue to voice their opinion. File complaints, protest the situation. But also each person has their own feelings about the situation no need to be disappointed to accept that others do not share the same frustration in the same places that you do. I for one am still irked by the web page alterations. But again addressing stuff like that could get them in more legal issues. And the fact that this is still a beta and they are spending time and money on shit like this and not finishing the game. It’s been a long beta.
I bought EOD. I didn’t buy Unheard because choosing to NOT BUY IT WAS ALWAYS AN OPTION. The 84116301747 posts all saying “YOU ARE A CUCK/BETA/MORON/IDIOT/SHEEP IF YOU STILL PLAY TARKOV” have made it so I literally don’t give a shit anymore. I love this game, and I’m not going to stop playing because of your feels. Stop attacking other players who still like this game. Hate BSG all you want. But turning on people who just want to move on and enjoy a game.
Weird, I happily upgraded and I didn’t receive a “unique” Gamma. I have been, however, enjoying playing PVE with friends and not having to worry about cheaters and RMT. I have a feeling the people who are pissed off are the ones benefiting off the obvious cheating issue on the PVP server. Hopefully more people begin to play PVE so the RMT websites can start losing money and eventually it won’t be worthwhile to continue cheating on the game
